It is COLD today . I'm going to go sit by the fire...

I'll take a slushie to go with my steakburger. Has anyone tried these things from Burger King? They are so yummy!

Got to check it out - must be something good back there!!

    Fresh peas - sounds good!
Reminds me of my cats when they keep returning to sniff a spot ... and as for the peas .... now I've got that "I scream, you scream, we all scream for green beans" jingle going through my head.

    I think I need a slushie!

    Maybe two!!

I have a moral question for you all...

What do you do when you feel like crud and you want to leave work (and you've got paid leave) but everyone else decided to leave and YOU'RE the only one there?

Sigh...I want to just say eff it and close up shop but I know the second I do, SOMEONE will complain.

    I hate feeling icky

Well, I guess since I did open this thread......

I'm glad this trip is almost over. I've been in OK for over a week, and it's time to go home to the family finally. I just hope Rita stays far enough offshore not to screw up my flight.

    DJF,

I used to work with w guy who had a change of schedule in for the whole summer so he could "adjust" to daylight savings time. Just tell 'em you couldn't adjust to the clock change.

Bartender, I'll take an Irish Coffe, and I even brought an extra bottle of bailey's so slick won't be too put off.

Thought some comfort food would be a good idea.
    Especially with brown onion gravy.

Actually since it's the first hot weekend downunder, and the footy finals are on. I've cleaned up the bbq, and have decided to do some sate beef kebabs, served on jasmin rice with a fresh garden salad.

It's also hot, so better drink some more beer.

It's also hot.. oops, too hot or too many beers.

I looovee hummus. I've never tried any store bought hummus, i've always just made it.

2 cans of garbonzo beans, a few dashes of olive oil, lots of garlic.

Anyone want a dog? Specifically a dog named Nala?
Was sleeping peacefully on my bed with Nala. My bed is against the wall and Nala was sleeping on that side with her back to me. Decides to stretch and push her legs against the wall. In the meantime she pushes her back against me and I go flying off the bed, bashing my foot on the dog crate next to it.

    GOOD MORNING!
