Sounds like things may work out for flying into Dayton, but if you can find cheaper flights, to Toledo or Detroit, we can help you out in the north!!

If anyone does decide to fly into Toledo, I'll be glad to be a chauffer - it is 1 hour to Findlay from Toledo. There actually is a smll airport in Findlay, too, but I don't know much about it. If anyone wants to stay in Findlay, I can recommend a couple places we used when we were interviewing there.

Nope sorry guys. I'm SO disappointed. There are no flights that will work with my schedule. I even got permission from my boss to leave at 3, but the only flights available are either early Friday morning or very late Friday night.

Hey don't give up yet I'm looking.......needs to be non-stop after 3 pm friday, right? Probably more like 4-5 since you have to have time to get there early...Does the Sunday time matter?

Yeah, unfortunately it's Easter. I need to be back before noonish.

The only flights I can find into Dayton arrive after midnight. Everything else is earlier in the day. That flight leaves here at 8:57.

Sigh. I'm almost in tears. I was SO excited to come.

Kay, that one's so far away that I wouldn't get into Piqua until VERY late, and I probably coudn't afford the cab fare.

I found a flight on AA that gets in at 12:05 am. I'm a scardy cat, but I guess I could think about taking a cab to the Piqua LaQuinta. I'm just such a chicken. I'm always afraid I'll end up getting kidnapped and killed. *paranoid*

We could come get you. It's only about 1h 33mins from Piqua... Not far at all. My dad and I drove from our hotel in Cinci to Anna's when we decided our hotel was crap and to stay at Anna's instead.

Okay, I have a flight on hold and I'm getting ready to pay for it! I'm even going to have a short layover in St Louis (I'm getting adventurous, lol). I depart DFW @ 1 pm (hopefully my boss won't freak out when I tell her!) and will arrive in Dayton at 5:30. I don't want anyone driving an hour and a half to pick me up! Kay, you're so sweet to offer, but I can't ask your Dad to drive that far and back to get me. I'll just get some pepper spray and take a cab to the LaQuinta in Piqua. I'm nearly 40 years old after all. But - I'll still take a lift to the park!

I'll leave a 10:30 the next morning which will put me back in Dallas at 12:17.

I'll need to get a cell phone number or Anna's phone number so I can call ya'll when I get there, and maybe we can go eat or something, unless y'all already have something planned.

Off to book my room!

I can't tell you all how excited I am. My boss and co workers can't belive I'm flying to Ohio to have a cookout with "strangers". I kept trying to tell them y'all are my family that I just haven't met face to face yet.
