I still have some Fernando Valenzuela stories left for opening day.

3-4 months...

Just think about next spring.

The fresh young arms will start unfurling and the vets with start
working out their kinks. The grass will look a little bit greener and smell sweeter in one stadium in the north east.

All us fans will be sharpening our scoring pencils, looking for familiar names and strange people in new uniforms.

Some captains will move on to helm new ships, some old salts will remain at the wheel-and the dream starts all over again..
