*Luckies, how many rats are you going to have in that cage?

I am not wasting money, it was a good buy and I am happy with the cage. I have other Superpet cages and I love them. I have always love them and I will be phasing out to all Superpet cages, except for does and younger ratties. Their easy to clean, fun to decorate etc.

I am not keeping rats in the cage, my hedgie is in there. And he's loving all the levels, being able to explore. And what's neat is that he's already trained himself to the litter box.

Yes the apricot colored ones stay that way until they die. They are called "fawns", which is the name of the color. I too find the fawns very pretty. The grandfather to this litter is a nice fawn buck, my Meeko boy.

Do baby rats like to cuddle with you? They look like they like to cling to you....how cute!!

My older bucks love to cuddle, especially Meeko and Quicksilver. They are major cuddle bugs. Does can be a little more hyper. The babies do like to feel secure, but once their eyes open they are outa there! They started opening their eyes today, so they should also start nibbling on food at this time as well. Now that their eyes are open they are exploring everything. Not all the eyes are open yet, but I suspect that by tomorrow you should be able to see peepers!
