    Mutts. BUT - if I had to choose a breed I would say these 3 tie for my affections:

    German Shepherds
    Poodles
    Shelties

    Because they're all extremely smart and trainable. But the best dog I ever had was a mutt.

    I have three absolute favorites:
    Samoyeds
    German Shepherds
    MIXED BREEDS!!!
    I don't know if these are in order... I just couldn't decide...
    I also love:
    Labs
    Pugs
    Golden Retrievers
    Rottweilers
    Boxers
    and so many more, and use up too much space!!!

    I just saw a beautiful Mut called Prince and he had collie in him and German Shepherd.
    Tommorow I'm seeing my 3 week old pup called INDY!!!!!!!!!

    My favorite breed is Rat Terrier. They are so smart and good lookng dogs. I wouldn't have any other breed

    I would have to say all breeds also, but I agree that it depends on the individual dog more than the breed..However if I had to chose I would have to say

    pugs
    boxers
    shih tzus
    boston terriers
    dachshunds
