Hi Sue, I am hoping that this is a temporary setback in his eating. I'm not sure what he is not supposed to eat, our Vet had us give Kona some hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese and instant rice, all mixed together. She was very ill, but would eat that mixture. Please know that our prayers are still coming to you and Killi and we send our love.

    Hello, Everybuddy, Shiloh here.

Just sayin that my brother Killi ate a little bit of food tonight. Our skin brother hand fed him sum food and he ate it. Not too much, but sum. I got a lot of it. I don't like Killi to be sick, 'cause he's just a mope when he is. He isn't too much fun like dat. I havta sit by him and give him kisses. If he yelps, I come runnin' from wherever I'm at and give him big slurps. Even if Mom is in the way, I push her on the side..I want to take care of Killi. Thank you for thinkin bout him. Well, I gotta go check up on him......Goodnite.

    Sweet Shilo:
What a wonderful pup you are! With your help and your mommy's love Killie should be on his way to eating better and recover his strength. In the meantime, we are still sending our prayers for him.

    Killi report:

    Shiloh here.

Yesterday Killi didn't eat hardly anything. I got to eat a lot. I eat evrythin he don't. He just ate only a little cottage cheese and american cheese. Today Mom chased him round the house with peanut butter, cottage cheese, beef, chicken soup with lotsa noodles and Flint River Ranch dog food. I must say I enjoyed it all, 'cause Killi wouldn't eat any of it. Finally, Dad says, give him Salmon. When we first got him and he was sick, he ate Salmon. Welllllll, needless to say, I did NOT get any. He ate it all, straight. Woohoo! (for him, not me ) Tomorrow Mom says she's gonna mix it with other stuff for him to eat. She says she can't believe he isn't passin out for lack of food. She said she hopes Salmon goes on sale or she's gonna needta getta job.

    Thanks for thinkin of us,
    Good-nite!

Yay Killi! Atta boy! You DO have good taste, though Salmon is one of the more expensive fishies...It's ouchie on your mom's pocket book, but WAY TO GO! I am so glad you ate. Salmon is a good, healthy food and I am glad that you gobbled it all up (sorry, Shiloh girl).

I am proud of you, Killi boy. You keep it up, OK? Sue, you are a saint to work so hard for that sweet boy. Your pups sure were lucky to have landed themselves in such a amazingly wonderful home. Not many people would make even half the effort you have made. You are a hero in my book. And a saint.

    Amen to everything Leslie said!!

Sue, could you try to buy a whole salmon at the store and have them filet it for you, into whatever size pieces you need? Sometimes that is a lot cheaper than buying the individual salmon steaks.

Hugs to Killian and his chunky brother, Shiloh, who has been enjoying all the leftoevers.

    Still praying hard, Sue.

Oh, Sue!! Yipppppppeee!!! Killi, you have superb taste!! And like I've always said, Star and Killi are definitely kindred spirits! I really had to laugh when I read your post. It reminded me of one of my first PT posts. It recalled the day Star nabbed an entire 6lb. salmon from the bottom shelf of the frig. I chased her and wrestled her to the floor, trying to pry it from her hot little paws and jaws, but alas, guess who won?? Guess prices are a lot lower on the coast. Here salmon is one of the cheapest fishes; only 3.95 lb! Wish I could send you some!

Killi, Star***Shine here. You keep chowin down on dem fishies. Salmon goes down soooooooo easy, don't it?? And Killi, iffin you like, me and the Cody Girl will send you some of our very own fresh catch! The udder day at low tide we were chasin down a hole skool a blue fishies dat were jumpin and splashin inna shallow water!! Hearin this good news made us all so happy, Killi Man! Let me know if yuz wants my Mom to send you some secret recipes! Love and big slurpy licks, your bestet pals, Star***Shine and Cody Girl.
