Look Richard, I have been standing in line with this empty glass for quite a long time now - I am a very patient person - but when I am thirsty - my sense of humor seems to flow away.

So could you hurry it up a bit? Thanks!

Hi All - oh could I please get my big end reduced too!!

Good grief - what's all this yuck on the floor - don't think I want to know.
You leave a place for months and months and months and when you get back it's still the same - HURRAY!!!! Gawd I've missed you lot - any chance of a long, cold and very alcoholic drink barkeep?
Sorry I missed breakkie yesterday Karen - it sounded delish. I'll be in earlier next time.

What were you doing on the road at G8 Slick? (Yee gods that man!)

Karen - was Alex OK yesterday in London? Bet he had aching toes eh? Good job he took the plane.
My friends hubby was down in London also yesterday - so I phone her at 4pm to check he was OK - and she knew nothing about it! She hadn't had the radio or TV on. Anyway he was fine.

Oh - is it nearly time for the Annual Barbie? That came round very quickly. Remember Gini - put away all the breakables!!

    Good morning everyone!
A sore throat and cold woke me up very early this morning so I'm going to whip up a Spanish Coffee.
Yes, I do get around, Richard/Lynne. Someone once had this saying below their signature. Who was that now? Anyway, it's just how I feel.
I'm well travelled, well not really. My mind just wanders alot.
Yes, I was a bit down all day yesterday thinking about the London bombings. Very tragic indeed.
Gini, you've been in line all night. Here, let me refresh that drink. DONE!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Karen, your hubby walked all the way from London to Killearn? I checked it out on google maps and I would guess he was pretty tired after that hike and I think he deserves a pitcher of slushies!
    (Yee gods that man!)
Struck me as funny. I agree but I hadn't heard it put just like that before.

Lynne! So good to have you back!

I'm still full from yesterdays breakfast, so how 'bout some left overs from that for todays breakkie?

It's going to be a hot one here again today and this weekend, so I think I'll pass on the Spanish coffee and go right for the good ol' coke to start me off.

Slick, I sure hope you aren't seriously getting a cold! That would be awful right now! Colds should only come around when you can get time off work for them, not when you're on vacation....and planning the best trip of the year!

Gini, wake up, Slick is trying to give you your drink! Oh oh....I think her eyes are stuck shut by all the cherry juice Mario was dripping on her after she fell asleep. He was just trying to get it in her glass so she'd have something to drink, but I guess he missed. Poor Mario, at least he tried....

We had some difficulties at work yesterday and I ended up at the office for over 12 hours! YIKES! Feel OK this a.m. though because it poured heavily all night long and I slept with the back door open listening to it with three dogs and two of the cats on my bed all snuggly and whispering to each other * we are so easily amused at Glenrose St * Strong coffee with a kicker please while I heat up some of yesterdays maaaaavelous breakfast

Hi, gang! It's great to see you here, Lynne! I'll just have a big cup of coffee, and then I'll rustle up some more clean wet rags and continue cleaning this MESS!! We have to run out of cherries SOMETIME!

Glad to see our PTr's from the UK all seem to be okay.

David, the problem with a virtual bar is that you never run out of ANYTHING (Spider Robinson would be jealous....If you've never read any of the Calahan's Cross Time Saloon books, I highly reccomend them, especially if you like your sci fi with a large dose of puns and alcohol)

Just had my cup of coffee, reading about all the car troubles, too bad you're not in the Southern tier of NY, I could help y'all out.

No no no! He didn't have to walk that far. I think that might take some weeks. He just walked a lot within London itself. The airports were all fine, he moved his flight back to allow extra time to get to the airport and he was OK.

I think he would appreciate a pitcher of slushies though! Wouldn't say no myself!

KK - there must be some sport thing on television - you know the super big wide screen version in the back of the bar.

Because Richard has been too slow in serving drinks. Well, he is on vacation, so I will stop complaining and just go make two huge pitchers of slushies for us.

I am just relieved that everyone is alright in our Pet Talk family..........a little difficult to laugh and joke around with these things going on in the world.

Maybe we need to gather these evil folks up together and set them up in their own cyber bar - with all exterior doors locked!

Or maybe we should invite them into our cyber bar so they can get a feel for how wonderful life can really be! I can just about guarantee that after a few slushies, they'll forget any silly ideas of bombings - suicide or otherwise! Instead they'll be more worried about Mario and his cherries, just what is in the L & F and why in the world Richard is being so slow in making their next slushie!

I just thought of something! I realize most Europeans seem to take whole months off during the summer BUT... silly me, I never realized Richard was so very "Continental"

Richard....continental....? Nope, guess I have to admit I never thought of him in that way either. And the only reason we can talk about him like this is because he's not here to defend himself - bwwwaaaaaa haaaaa haaaaa. <evil grin>

I'm ready for my afternoon pitcher of slushies. Anyone want to join me?
