The may have not like the war, but they were supportive, patient, and did what they had to do to make a bad situation bearable.

Hummm, I seem to remember you telling someone in another

Liz, when I made the request that the urinating contest be taken elsewhere, it was in another forum outside the dog house. I've come to accept is as par for the course in the dog house, but it annoys me in the other forums.


I try to never listen to speeches, I prefer to read the text after the fact. It eliminates variables that can affect how you hear the speech. Given the current events in Iraq, it was a clear statement that needed to be made. The President did not link Iraq to 9-11 in the speech, he linked current events in Iraq to "the war that was brought to our shores on 9-11", as in the terrorists (NOT IRAQIS) who are in Iraq killing both our troops and Iraqi civilians.

I think we have been having a pretty good get- along so far..

We start out slow......nitpick at each other,
one side scores a point....the other side scores a point....

I start frothing at the mouth , confuse everyone and we go on.....

Ths one reason that I love these little "mano a manos' is that I like to have fun. I like to talk to someone with out the flaming that goes on in other sites......It's fun and tests my my knowledge of Trivia...


Think one thing when you start to read something I post..especially in a thread like this....
