I have to say....wash the pillow.....for Magoo....and find a new one for you. If you just throw it away and get a new one, he'll just start doing the same to the new one or to something else, so just keep the old one for Magoo and somehow hide the new one - under the covers or something - during the day while you're gone so he can't get it.Originally posted by catcrazylady
No I didn't throw it away. I made it to the laundry basket with it but no further yet. I'm still debating!! I know it will wash but my hugger pillow will now always have a new meaning to me.![]()
This is something he's going to do, so just designate this the Magoo Love Pillow and let him have at it! As a matter of fact, I wouldn't even wash it, just give it to him. I'm not a pillow hugger so I can only smpathize somewhat, but even if it takes awhile to re-condition a new hugger pillow for yourself, isn't that easier than depriving Magoo of his love?![]()

Actually I'm surprised with all the male cats in your house that some of the others haven't "exhibited this type of behavior" already. To me it's just something male cats do and I guess that's because Tubby did it as long as I can remember.![]()
