    Thank you all so much

Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts, and special prayers. You’ll never know how much they mean to me.

We had just the kind of service that Daddy wanted and it was a nice beautiful day outside (just his type of day). Several people said great things about him and we took Bob with us to the cemetery. He was also in the paper in Dad’s obituary. The funeral director made both suggestions when he found out what an animal lover my dad was, and how close he was to Bob. Here’s his obituary.

    Once again, thank you friends.

    My sympathies on your loss.

You'll never lose your dad as long as you keep him in your heart and your mind.

Prayers and best wishes to you and your family.

What a gentle face. Thanks for sharing.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

I am so sorry. My sympathies are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I know how you feel, I just found out an hour and a half ago that my grandmother died from ovarian cancer.

If you need to talk, please PM me. *HUG*
