I bet you are looking forward to the weekend when the relief troops will be home! Don't hesitate getting a cone for Murphy. They get use to them and it is for their best. I thought I wouldn't be able to bear putting one on Dixie but I had to and it was the best thing I could of done.

I believe in miracles. The hearing kind would be fantastic for this beautiful labbie girl!!!

Aww, Murphy, recover quickly, sweetie. This is the hard part.

Enjoy your new cone (if you get one)!!! Both my fosters wore one. It's the pits! Also, I had bruises on my legs from Bandit and his cone!

Kito wore a cone after "the big snip"--he got used to it, and I had bruises on my legs too!! After he figured out how to manuever it, he had no troubles.

Get well soon Murphy, we all know you will!

Well, we'll find out if the terrible cone will be necessary in a little while. We are going to have her checked at 3:30 this afternoon. After she pulled the bandage off yesterday, I hated to go into the weekend worrying whether she had damaged something. I had to go on an errand a little while ago, for less than an hour, and came home to find her uncovered again!! Sure am glad I made that appointment!!!!

I'd be willing to bet that Murphy is picking up Satellite TV signals as we speak. My Bailey had to wear a cone periodically because of her skin condition. We told her how beautiful she was and she would prance around so proud. I hope the vet appointment went well and that Murphy surgery site is healing appropriately.

Anna's bandaged smiley was so funny. How do you people find such appropriate things to post?

Hi folks! A quick check in. We have ice and the cable has not been trustworthy tonight.

Murphy is not a conehead. He rebandaged her and gave us the supplies to do the same, which we have, twice now. The bandage is slipping down towards her neck. She is not scratching, thank goodness. But she seems better. We took her to my parent's house with us yesterday. My mother said that she was an excellent girl and was welcome back anytime!!

She's healing, just slowly but surely. She will be checked again on Wednesday. Thank you so much for asking about her!!! I'll keep you posted.
