at one time after the bassinet in bed.. I placed the crib in our room right next to the bed.. so baby was right there but also on his own "bed"...

for me it was also more comfortable as I didn´t had to walk middle-of-the-night to his room ...

Our room is definitely too small for a crib, and we're going to have to rearrange to have a co-sleeper. The room we'll use for the nursery is directly across the hall, and I do plan to go there to nurse if David is sleeping. If I'm too sore at first, I'll just stay in the bed and nurse, and David will just have to use ear plugs. I do like the idea of having a nursery set up for naps during the day and for the baby's things to be organized and in one area. I know I'll have a handful of things in our room with the co-sleeper, but I'd like to keep most of the things in the nursery.

My mom already sent a box of maternity clothes. She got some really cute things for really really cheap at Kohl's. Most of the tops were less than $4. She's a great bargain shopper. When I talked to her today, she'd just picked up some Dr Seuss books for $5 a piece. She's a great gal, and way too excited to remind her that I asked her not to send anything until the first trimester was past.

Target had some really cute onesies and stuff, I was kinda surprised. I want to go into the store and put my hands on some of the stuff I'm including on the registry to make sure I like the feel of them, too. I know some things are only available online, but for those I can find at the store, that'll help in the decision.

I loved my swing, couldn't have lived without it. I think I had a bouncer also, what do you mean by bouncer?

By the way the shower is progressing, I bought things to make party favors and my daughter is making those.

Nice! My mom is making my italian style party favors too. Since she is making them by hand, it will take months.

We aren't doing any that elaborate just some jordan almonds covered in thule and a bow tying it all together with a plastic rattle thing.

Well, she is doing the same thing too: Jordon almonds, the thule but outside of the thule, she will layer with a crochet doily.

    I haven't had them in a while.
I think the outside is supposed to be kind of hard but the nut 'per se', less hard.....

LOL... I didn't mean it like that smarty pants.

I mean she really had a dislike for those two items she would only put up with them for about 5 minutes. her favorite thing was being laid in her boppy pillow... you're right... she's not typical. she's strange lol
