Fritz this morning in Mom's chair. His hip is still hurting.I thought he was getting better when he ran to the back door to greet my cousin Sharon and boyfriend who dropped in for few minutes.he was jumping around greeting them, trying to kiss them and when my cousin's boyfriend tried to pick him up he squealed and ran behind a living room chair and stayed the whole time.At supper ,he stayed under the dining room table, afraid we were going to hurt him.Had a little of our supper and a little ice cream, had to take it to him. After this,he went to Mom's bedroom to lay on the mat and was going to put him on her bed and he ducked under the bed where he stayed until after 10 last night, finally got him out with treats and a drink of water.I put him on my bed where he slept all night. This morning,Mom got him and he sat with her in her chair and then he had a drink, went out, come in and had toast and cereal, had another drink and is now under the dining room table, won't us touch him.

Fritz under my bed this morning.Fritz can jump down off the couch fine,it is the jumping up he can't do.He will have to be careful when Marlene,Larry and Taffy come that he doesn't get too excited and hurt himself again.Slept with me last night,he was under the couch before comimng up,I tried moving him,he growled, left him there, came out on his own,mom gave him a treat,I picked him up and I put him out.Didn't stay long and he went to bed, quiet all night, just about pushing me out of bed.Brought him to the couch today and he had his breakfast there. Now every time ,he comes in from outside,he expects a treat, mom has them in the spare bedroom and he knows it.he is now in the lving room, just had another Denti stix.I was up at 5,had a little snow to do and there was a hockey game on at 6 from Switzerland,Canada beat a Russian team 2-1 to win the Spengler Cup in Davos and at 12 the Canadian juniors play Denmark in the World Under 20 Championships in the Czech Republic.Fritz is here now with his Duck wanting to play, jumped on the chair and from the floor to the couch and jumped on the coffee table no problem, maybe feeling better.

Fritz with his duck in the chair this morning and laying in the sun in the hallway upstairs .Fritz is doing better, can jumps on thing lower to the ground like the couch downstairs and the coffee table, now under the couch snoozing, waiting for 2008 to come. Taffy hasn't been herself lately, she has fallen down short stairs a couple of times, may have a little arthritis,Larry is worried about her.We were taken out to dinner tonight by Larry and Marlene, had steak and a Greek dessert called Baklava.Just like to wish all my friends here on Pet Talk a Happy New Year and alll the best for 2008 from Barry,Mom and Fritz.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.
Fritz having a late snack of his food, laying under the small couch downstairs.Fritz managed to stay up until midnight, gave him a big kiss.He eventually went to bed with me after going to the window and growling at me.Put him on my bed and he stayed quiet all night, eventually cuddling up to me.He even jumped up to the window today and he had a big run outside in the snow we got early today, comes in from it running around.got his dog stuffy out to play, has it with him now on the couch.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.
HAPPY NEW YEAR Fritz, Barry, and Mom!! Are you resting up after your big night, Fritzie? You look so cute. I'm sending kisses from Florida to you for a Happy New Year!!!![]()

Thanks Barry!
Barry, perhaps you should buy some pet steps for Fritz, so he can jump up on the couch? I bought some cheap ones at Linens & Things for $20 (plus I had a $5 off coupon). JoJo Louise uses them all the time.
BTW, Happy New Year!
I love Fenway, JoJo, Olivia and Nonnie!

Fritz on my sister Marlene's lap after supper last night with Monkey as a pillow. Mom made a good supper last.We had Scalloped Potatoes,Carrots,Turnip,Ham,Pickles,Buns and Broccoli Salad which had Bacon bits in them, also Red Onions and Mandarin Oranges .Had the Jello dessert with Graham Crumbs .Both Fritz and Taffy had some Ham ,Fritz also had a bit of dessert.Taffy is feeling better, can't jump up into the truck, needs a boost,Fritz seems to be fine, can jump up on things but didn't jump on Mom's chair but did to get with me this morning.Fritz came when I went to bed and was on the bedspread, then he moved to the mat and was sitting there, may have wanted up on the bed.I went to pick him up,he went under the bed and I left him there,Went back to bed,he whined, tried getting him out with a little cheese, also trying to push him out,he growled as if he was going to bite. Finally got him out.Mom asked if he was going to stay or go to his bed,so gave him to Mom and she took him to his bed, wasn't very happy with him.He took his time coming out, didn't have breakfast from us,got up in the chair with me,far as I know is still there.Right nmow.it is sunny and cold 10 degrees,by Sunday up to around 50 amd Rain, mild for the 2-3 weeks and February is to be cold.Everyone got a kick out of Fritz on his back playing with his Monkey and Dog stuffy.Mom has started taking decorations down, tree will stay where it is downstairs.cover with a plastic bag.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.
Oh, Fritz, the picture of you and the monkey/pillow just makes me smile. Try not to jump too much if that's hard on you. Happy New Year, sweetie guy. P.S. to elizabethann's question about pet steps - I saw them for sale at Walgreen's, too.

Fritz laying in a sunny spot on the kitchen floor late this morning. He hesitated once today jumping up to the window but other than that he is fine,Had a couple of good plays with the Dog stuffy, really loves it,some material is coming off it and making a mess.Has spent a little time twice today on Mom's lap,has been under the couch.Just came in from outside where it isd really cold,10 degrees, was in such a hurry ,was halfway down the stairs with his chain on,unclipped him and he took down the stairs and is now on top of the chair next to me.We watched Shrek 2 on New Year's Eve and in one scene Shrek said something to a Bichon an it got scared and covered its face with its paws, thought it really cute.

Fritz this morning sleeping in his bed in my bedroom, using the bedspread as a pillow. This is where he slept all night, but at quarter to 4 he went out to the livingroom,he may have wanted to go out, because I found him sniffing at the chair in the livingroom and I found a wet spot there. After 10 minutes,Fritz came back and went to sleep and this is how he was this morning. He slept to around quarted to 8,had his breakfasst, went out,,got in the lbue chair, now in Mom's chair.Mom gone to get nails done.Real cold this morning,4 degrees and sunny.Tomrrow "warming up" to 28 and by the first two days of next week,it will be 52 degerees and showers.
