Your husband let her out?? After blaming you for her absence the first time round?

Since she has taken to not coming when called, I would keep her in - or make her your husband's responsibility.

I'm so happy to hear that Zazou is back inside safe and sound.
I would ground her and keep her inside until she does better in responding to her name or you could limit her outside time to when you are out there to supervise her and can see where she likes to hide or even take her out only on a leash and harness.
Give Zazou a hug and kiss from me and tell her not to do that again.
    RIP sweet Samantha

    Good news

Hi Lut! It has been hectic around here and I didn't see this until now. I can't even begin to imagine what a nightmare this must have been for you. Could Zazou have been hiding in the garden the whole time? Poor little girl must have really been scared to hide like that! How good to know that Zazou is home again - tired and hungry but safe and sound. Now it's time for you to relax and get some rest.

Dear Zazou, I'm so happy that you found your Meowmie and you're back with your hoomins and fur sisters. They love you very much and were so worried about you. Please, don't ever run away like that again!!! When something scares you, the safest place to be is home where you'll be protected from the scary things. I see that your Meowmie is putting you under house arrest for a day. You're getting a much lighter sentence than what you would get in Cat Court. You're so lucky to have a nice garden to play in. I hope you have already apologized to your Meowmie and Pawpie for doing that. Learn from this and don't EVER run away again, okay?

I'm so glad that Zazou made it home safely. I agree that she should stay inside until she learns to come when she's called.

I'm so happy Zazou came back home and wasn't injured somewhere.
I believe I'd keep her indoors for a day or two also, Lut, I think you need
a brake from the worry when she doesn't come when she's called .

I am so happy that she is back home - "indoors" where she belongs.

Having kitties is just like being a mother - you worry yourself sick - and then they finally come home and you don't know whether to throttle them -
or scoop them up and give them all the loving you can.

I wouldn't miss any of it for the world!!!

We are pleased that Tubby and Tubby 2 did so well on thier first case.
They walked up to Zsazou and told her that she should go home.
And led her home to her loving Meowmie.
    Well done Tubby Angels.

Zazou!!! PLease do not add to the gray hair on my head!!!! The Clan does a very good job all by themselves!!! I have to agree with several of the posts about keeping you in OR going out on the harness and leash!!!
By the way Lut, your garden is so beautiful!!!!
Glad Zazou is home and safe thanks to the detective work of Tubby and 2!!!
