Is anybody watching France-Switzerland?? They are 0:0, but it's a really exciting game to watch

I want to see Brazil-Croatia too! Those brazilians are just too good, and I love watching them, but it will be a bit scary if they have to play against Argentina...

Is Croatia any good??? As you know, I am not a soccer fan... but my son Mick, he's just crazy for it. I know he says that the U.S. won't advance past the first round and that Brazil is going to take it all. But being only a second generation American (both my parent's parents from Croatia), maybe I can do some ancestral rooting!!! LOL!

I don't know if Croatia is good, but I'm sure that Brazil is much better than them I would love Croatia to win, though...

Wasn't it France vs Switzerland? I haven't watched any today due to revision, but Sweden are in Group B.

LOL, you had me cofused for a second there

shihtzulover, the groups are made up of four teams which qualified for the World cup. There are 8 groups, and the teams within each group play each other. The top two teams go into the second round, then the winners from that go into the quarter finals, then you have the semi-finals, and then the final decides the winner!

I did not watch France-Switzerland but from what I saw on the news I did not miss anything going to the shelter cuddling the kitties instead of watching it

I'm going to watch Germany - Poland in 30 minutes, and I hope it's going to be a good match.

The entire country is really excited, never saw that much black-red-gold before in my life!

Sonia, I just spoke to my sister Sonja (who lives in Stuttgart), and she saw France - Switzerland on one of these big public screens in Stuttgart. She said even though the match itself was boring, the atmosphere was great. Many fans from Switzerland and France were there to watch, and even some from Brazil who brought drums and were dancing Samba.
