We're not going to be able to make it.

I explained the whole thing to Phred, but the gist of it is we're in the middle of negotiations to buy a "new" motorhome and just can't be away from home all weekend.

I was really looking forward to seeing everyone again, and to meeting Bowzie and having you all meet P & CJ.....

I'm hoping we'll definitely have a new motorhome by Labor Day so we can make the trip out for that gathering....if you guys still have one then.

So sorry, but sometimes timing just stinks.

Five over the posted limit is usually OK - TEN and over and they
usually wanna "talk" to ya!

And be CAREFUL in Work Zones!!
Ohio tries to clean them up for Holidays and reduce or eliminate
lane closures ...
**IF** the reduced speed signs are COVERED with black baggies -
normal speeds are allowed ...
BUT if the Work Zone Speed Limit signs are showing -
they are INFORCED! ~ *Even if* there isn't a "worker" in sight!!

Troopers ride in "marked" all-White or all-Golden/Copper cars;
Sheriffs ride in all-Black "marked" cars;
"Local PD's" can be in anything - some are NOT "marked".
Turn-Right-on-Red is allowed unless posted "NO Turns" at the intersection.

I always wear my seatbelt anyway - it's been the law for a while here in Massachusetts, and it just makes sense to anyway!

I also read in the Findlay paper that the local "law enforcement" are doing their version of a "Click-It or Ticket" drive for the holiday weekend.

HEY! The park put two more pic-nic tables inside the dog park, for a total of 3! They also put up a metal wire fence to replace the plastic one, so I guess they REALLY want to keep everyone off the left side. A woman there tonight said they threatened to fine her $500 for her dog having gone through to the other side . (let's hope they were "joking") There is still a big tear through the plastic grid at the far end, so keep an eye on your pooches.
