You and Trev just don't speak the same language, do you Laurie? I think ANZAC day celebrates the first major engagement of Australian and New Zealand troops during WWI at Gallipoli (and what does "pony up" mean anyway????!!)

Laurie talks funny doesn't she?? But we love her just the same.

Pony Up? It means contribute - do your part - pay up..........I guess it is British in origin.

Waaayyyy to early here to be thinking about a drink - so a large coffee would be nice. I'll start a fresh pot.

Well, shiver me timbers, I'll join you in some of that coffee and Baileys. September 19 is a Monday. Can we fly the Jolly Roger in the bar on the nearest Thursday?

OMD Gini...what the heck were you doing up so early? Were the orangies complaining about empty bowls??

OK so we've got Oggy and Laurie talking like an Auzzie pirate, we've got Gini riding a pony and Karen is taken that Anzac drug. The things I miss so early in the morning. This is all way to much to take in to early.

A new batch of Bailey's is on the bar, help yourself. Richard didn't check in last night???

    Julie...you were carded???
On the other end of that scale, when I went to the Pet Expo here in Vancouver I joked that I had grey hair and could I get in for the pensioner's rate? She said sure...so I saved myself 2 bucks.

Weather is hot here again today so I'm just going to grab a big bottle of ice water.

    Hi, everyone!
Sorry to have missed the party this week. I was busy dodging tornados. Kansas had 18 yesterday and one took a bead on our town. Lukily it went south of us.

I'm just going to grab 4 cat nip teas for the cats and a cherry limeade for myself. Tornado or no, they must have their treat!

The weather is so odd. Yesterday it was in the 80s, today it's in the 50s. No wonder we had twisters!

Mario are you being a good boy? Hmmm????? Somehow, I doubt THAT!

Actually Mario is behaving pretty well today. I think he's making up for getting kicked out of the grocery store when he and I were restocking the bar food on Wednesday Here in the mid-Atlantic we too went from 80 to 50 but no tornado threats or sightings thank doG. Earthquakes and hurricanes I've dealt with but I think a tornado would truly freak me out. Hunker on over while I fix the tea and limeade... SEE! Mario is even giving you some of his special stash of cherries

Good morning Connie....I'm sure glad you and the furry ones are safe and sound.

I'll go and put on the kettle for the tea. Have a seat and relax.

WOW! I AM honored! Mario doesn't share his stash of cherries very often!

I think I'll park in front of the fire and take a nap while the tea is brewing! I'm really tired today! Wake me if I snore too loud! I hope I'm out of range of the FOOD FIGHT!

Good morning everyone. Its an absolutely beautiful day here in the rose city. We've had non-stop rain for a month - but the good news is that western Oregon is no longer in danger of a summer drought

I brought some of my tulips in from my garden. They are currently at their exquisite best I'll just put them in a vase and set them on the counter.

momo - YIKES - be careful out there.

These are not the droids you were looking for

OMD, not in here! If we start, and Mario joins in, can you imagine the mess we would make? Richard would have a fit! LOL
Tell you what, the kettle is boiling so you can make the CNT and we'll both serve it up.....Momma always told me to share....

Julie, those tulips are beautiful. Thanks for bringing them in. No Mario, there are not for eating....
We've had gorgeous weather all week and I heard it's going to get up to 70 this weekend. Glad to here about your drought situation. I'm sure our water restrictions will start next month.
