what's the matter with you all??

THe Yanks tank a little and everyone gets scared....

    Oh ye of little faith.....

    ---------------------

Who saw the Ichiro catch last week......

I got goosebumps just thinking about it....catch of the year so far!!

    -----------------------

Some bad news from the Land of the Easily Amused.....

The Dodgers have had two "Two Dollar Tuesday" promo nights.

The cheap seats going for two bucks....they sold about 40,000 seats to both games...and the morons came out to watch..

Fights, boozing, cursing and idiots running out on the field..In the field pavillions a group of fans broke a bench off the legs and were waving it over their heads...

Fans were quoted that they had never been to a game where there was so much trouble.....

Give the fans a break and they bite the hand that entertains them...

    Sheesh.....

HEY RICHARD, was that you running across the field at the Dodger's game the other day?????
As soon as I saw it on the telly, I thought of you!!!

How about those Yanks, pulling it out the last 11 games? And of course, my Roger is breaking even....early yet......

I have nothing to say, I'm trying to keep a low profile with my Yanks doing a whole lot of nothin' and my roger not breaking any records......been a quiet baseball season so far... *knock on wood*

Why does some drunken law breaker remind everyone of ME???

    J9,

I'm usually to tired to participate in such hijinks.

    And this "Low Profile" nonsense????

Take one serving of George S.
    Shake vigorously.
Uncover carefully, pour and win games.....what's so hard about that?
    -------------------------------

You know it's a wacky season when the LA fans are bigger news than the NY fans.....just kidding......

A week and a half ago the Dodgers passed out pamphlets with a
"Code of Behaivior for Fans". 22 rules for the people attending the games....

    Lost Angeles fans? Unruly????

    The earth has shifted poles.....

The Dodgers a putting along and San Diego is leading the west!

Bonds came out to have a look at his knee.......

and I am begrudgingly coming to the realization that AROD is a pretty damn good player....

We have tickets to see two games at Dolphins Stadium in Miami: the Marlins vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks on August 9th, and the Marlins vs. the San Francisco Giants on August 13th. We are finalizing our vacation plans and have decided to go to Florida this year.

This will be the 16th Major League stadium we have attended a game at in 16 years. Our son is 16, and going on vacation every summer to a different city with a Major League team has become a family tradition for us. We are so excited about this upcoming trip!

Last year we went to Boston, and to New York City. And Boston FINALLY won the World Series last year! We wore Boston Red Sox shirts to Yankee stadium when we were in New York, even though the Yankees were playing out of town that week. We wanted to tour the stadium, but we didn't get to. They told us they stopped giving stadium tours after 9-11. We think it's just because we were wearing Red Sox shirts! We did get to attend a Mets game at Shea stadium last year though, as well as a couple of Red Sox games at Fenway Park in Boston. We had been to Fenway Park before, so Shea Stadium was the "new" one we went to last year.

Unfortunately, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays aren't playing at home during the time we will be in Florida, or we would be attending a game there, too. Oh, well---it will just give us an excuse to return to Florida some time in the future.....

I know baseball fans aren't out in full force yet...

    Think about this....

Derek Jeter is not of this planet.

    Forget steroids.

    Check him for human DNA.

Mike Piazza the All Star starting catcher???
    I don't understand THAT!!

and the Red Sox won the WC last year.

    The world is gonna end.

We got home from our vacation to Florida on Sunday. We watched the Marlins beat the Diamondbacks on Tuesday, August 9th. And we watched the Marlins beat the Giants on Saturday, August 13th.

Did anyone see the Marlins' Center Fielder, Juan Pierre, throw the ball all the way from center field in to the catcher, to get the base runner out at home plate, on August 13th? That was an AWESOME play! It saved the Marlins' win, because the final score was just 2 to 1, and it prevented the tie.

Ahem, Richard I believe Oakland pulled it together and beat the Angels

At least one of my teams is doing reasonably well. Gah, the Giants on the other hand are looking mighty tiny as of late. Ick...where's the pukey face when you need one?

I saw the Marlins Game Soapets...I thought for sure the Giants would pull one out but alas, they lose yet again.

They DID beat Atlanta once though...

I am here, holding my breath and hoping the Sox remember how to play baseball! When they do something like they did SUnday (clobber the Yankees 10-1) I always think "okay, guys, save some of those runs for when you NEED them!"
