I have finally made it to Dick's.

Uh, Mario? I don't think that you can link those onion rings together, but on you they make great ankle bracelets!

    Good evening all.

It's been a long day and I'm very tired and don't have much to say. I'm just going to curl up by the fire with a shot of brandy.

All I can think of is Randi and Debbie/Terry and the pain they must be going through. Too bad we all didn't have magic wands to wave over the land and take all the pain away.

I gang Boy what a day I have had. It was really great how many people turned out for our homecoming for the troops Had 150 cars in the parade half the personnal got so in to the ribbions and flags about a 1/3 of them were tearry. It was so great. I was bawling the 3 miles from the airport and the whole time during the parade .My kids had plenty of napkins for me.
Then I get home and read the Last post from John via Randi. I really have had LES today.
Hey Slick slide over and let's share a brandy and the couch Please.

Sit here Corinna. How are you, my friend? What a day you've had. Teary eyed.....I'd be a basket case.

You know, the good thing about Thursdays is you can come here to have fun, or you can just sit quietly with your own thoughts and good friends.

Oh dear, our shots are empty. Be right back with refills.

Am I too late for a nightcap?

It has been a long day............and it looks as though the House of Orange right now is a Bed of Orange.

And it looks inviting.............think I will join them in a minute.

Corinna, I would have been right beside you bawling my eyes out! Please tell all of the men and women that you encounter, how proud we are of them.

The fire is pretty and warm isn't it?

I saw on the news about the monkey (chimps) attacks in California. You wouldn't happen to have anything to do with it would you Mario?

Richard, where are you?!?!? That wasn't you that got your faced ripped off was it.

2005 has started out rough for so many near and dear to me, and I'm thinking of them every day. Every day, I think and say a prayer for John, and for Randi that she find strength and comfort, for Debbie and Terry who must be going through such a sad and difficult time, for my sister who is haunted and lies awake at night thinking of her sweet dog she had to have euthanized due to suffering from cancer, and my dearest friend Sandra, who suffers silently every day, feeling alone and frightened as she tries to understand why she lost all her remaining family so suddenly at the start of this year. I honestly don't know how she finds the strength to post those beautiful compassionate posts when her own heart is so sick with grief.

So to all who have suffered tragedy, hardship and loss, whether it be a month ago, a year ago, or longer, I give a moment of silence and a prayer for healing. God bless.

Willie, Terry's Dad died a few days ago. He had been suffering from Alzheimers. Debbie put a post in General about it.

Think I'll see if Slick and Gini left any of that brandy last night. I'll sit by the fire and send some healing vibes to my friends who are suffering. Can I pour you something Willie?

Edited to say "Sorry! Late again."
