The "Pit Bull Problem"

Thanks for posting! I've already seen this video, but I love watching it over and over again. I'm sure we'll own a Pit Bull one day because they're simply awesome!

People just need to realize that it's NOT a dog's fault if they act aggressively. Just remember that ANY dog, no matter what breed they are, can have aggressive behavior. If your dog is having some aggressive issues, it's your duty as the owner to seek help and talk with an animal behaviorist. If you do nothing about it and your dog bites someone, it's not their fault, it's yours.

I hate seeing animals having to pay for their owners own careless mistakes. I also hate it when people say Pit Bulls and other breeds are "bad" dogs. Like I've said, ANY breed can have aggressive behavior so blame the deed, NOT the breed. You can also blame the media for portraying Pit Bulls and certain other breeds as "bad" dogs. If another breed of dog bites, you don't see that ending up all over the news.

My brother was attacked by 2 Rottweilers when he was 6 and he was afraid of them for years, but now he loves all dogs...mostly Beagles, other Hounds, Rottweilers, and Pit Bulls.

If you have his exact words you can email them to the Humane Society of the United States. They may be able to track this person down.

Wow this is such a touchy subject! I raise Dobermans and I have had to hear the same BS about "the dogs natural nature to be vicious" And as all of you know im sure its all on how you raise ANY animal, Ive owned pits b4 and a close friend of mine raises them, i will admit they take more time and patience than the average dog, but so do alot of other breeds., and i hope that stronger punishments come out for "Dog fighters" and etc....thanks for sharing that video! I will pass it on frequently.
