I remember that cartoon! It's a pretty old one but I can't remember any more of it.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.
    [/SIZE]

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

    Pink Elephants On Parage

    Look out! Look out!
    Pink elephants on parade
    Here they come!
    Hippety hoppety
    They're here and there
    Pink elephants ev'rywhere
    Look out! Look out!
    They're walking around the bed
    On their head
    Clippety cloppety
    Arrayed in braid
    Pink elephants on parade
    What'll I do? What'll I do?
    What an unusual view!
I could stand the sight of worms
    And look at microscopic germs
    But technicolor pachyderms
    Is really much for me
I am not the type to faint
When things are odd or things
    are quaint
But seeing things you know that ain't
Can certainly give you an awful fright!
    What a sight!
    Chase 'em away!
    Chase 'em away!
    I'm afraid need your aid
    Pink elephants on parade!
    Pink elephants!
    Pink elephants!

MOFF, we saw The Day after Tomorrow last weekend. If you see it, make sure to have lots and lots of blankets on hand because you will get cold watching it. It was kinda scary even though I know it was only a movie. Just thinking that something like that could really happen is enough to make me want another drink!

Didn't Fantasia have "fluffy" pink elephants floating everywhere in it?

No, it wasn't dumbo; it wasn't a movie. It was one of the "short" cartoons that aired after school. I'm thinking warner brothers (or blue ribbon??) made it...

I remember Horton Hatches the Egg, anyone else? (He was a pinkie hefalump too!)

I remember Horton Hears a Who better than the Horton Hatches the Egg. That Horton was a busy boy, wasn't he?

Debbie, I think the Day of Destruction was inspired by The Day after Tomorrow. It's the problems with the electrical grid in the Day of Destruction that are truely frightening to me. I can really see that happening.

Pink Elephants, orange smooshed pumpkins, Hippo's in tutu's, Berry-Bums and doG knows what else. What did you spike the DOTD with Bunny-Cheeks Slick, the Devil and Santa? Now THAT'S a trio worth a paragraph or two, but I won't do it. I won't do it.... THE H3%@ I WON'T Let's get that big tray of food (no Willie... you don't have to travel) and bring it over to Andy. But ONLY if he wears his bear-claw slippers I've seen a horse fly. I've seen a dragon fly. Well I've done seen about every thing but I never seen an elephant fly!

Good Lord, what are you two doing up so early rustling about?

Goldfish? I love the commercial for those. "It's the snack that stares back"

I've made a fresh batch of Baileys for anyone interested.

Slick, the Devil and Santa? Now THAT'S a trio worth a paragraph or two, but I won't do it.

Come on now Laurie I dare you!
