Well, we just heard back from the Dr. It is a tumor in the right frontal lobe and the neurologist believes it is malignant. We're going to start him on steroids today and see how he does in the next 48 hours. If he improves we may get a month or two with him, if not then our only options would be either brain surgery or euthanasia.

Thanks for all your prayers we're going to go pick him up now and spend what time we have with him.

Oh, Kat. I just read your update and I am sad and happy at the same time. I'm glad you know what you are dealing with, but I am sad that it looks like there is nothing that can be done about it. Please give Elvis a gentle hug from us (Mimi, Butter and me.......yes, Butter can be gentle when he needs to be).

You and Elvis are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry. But like Logan said, at least you know what you're dealing with. I'm hoping and praying the steroids give you a little more time to treasure him.

This is the same Elvis that had surgery on his ear not too long ago, isn't it? (just wanted to make sure I'm picturing the right kitty)

Yes, this is the same Elvis with the ear surgery. And the same Elvis with the seizure disorder. And the same Elvis with the sprained knee. *sigh* He's certainly used up a number of his nine lives. I'll see if I can dig up a picture of him somewhere.

Right now, he's resting with Chris. We gave him his first prednisone and we'll see how he does.
