When should I be worried?

Oh no, not our big lovable Angus!! I'm hoping and praying that he's ok.

This is probably highly unlikely, but the bleeding around his bum area could possibly be a ruptured anal gland...I bathed a dog at work yesterday that had blood around there and a tiny hole. It was from a ruptured anal gland. It seems like older dogs have more trouble with that. The smell from that is an awful nasty smell.

Angus is a strong dog. He will be a-okay. Some medication, and hopfully he will be back on his feet being himself.

I'm so sorry to read about Angus's illness. Boy, this evokes
a lot of old memories. I do so hope that this is a temporary
thing & his Vet can get Angus to feeling better soon. Hugs to

Amy, I didnt' even think of that. Kia ruptured her's and I remember the blood startled my dad and it smelled really bad!
