Edwina was not so thrilled about being in my lap.

Shirley made a quick appearance, doing a high wire balancing act above, but she dissapeared into the trees before I could get my camera out.

First, Edwina wants everyone to know that she did perform her marvelous imitation of a snake a couple of times for the assembled guests. Shirley, meanwhile, looked down at the feast, and seeing no Brazil nuts, continued on her way...after performing a daring high wire act for the crowd. (She had made numerous nutty visits during the week!) Eddie still believes there is a bird SOMEWHERE in that fountain.

It was perfect weather, great people and a fun time. Thanks to all who helped make it a special day.

And btw....my sister's name is Becky ...which is very close to Betsy!

What great pictures, Kim - all of them! You really caught the feel of it all. The pictures of Eddie are unbelievable cute! And also the one of Siegmar holding Edwina. She even looks relaxed!!

Eddie, instead of standing in that awkward position, you could jump up on the edge - but perhaps you'd get wet feet.

Barbara and Siegmar are now enjoying themselves with Sallyanne here in Vermont.
I had the pleasure of meeting them yesterday and I did take some photos but won't have time to post them until tomorrow at the earliest.

Thanks so much everyone for all these wonderful pictures! The day looks to have been a truly special event. I was really keen to see pictures of the party, but now I'm just green with envy. I would LOVE to meet the E's!! (and everyone else, of course. )
