Oh Mario, come and sit by me. We haven't had much quality time together.

Hello all. Would someone please tell me what scrapples is? I've never heard of it. Can Mario share those cherries? I love them! One DOTD please. It sounds really good! I'm so glad it's Thursday. Survivor is supposed to be really good tonight.

Just thought of one more thing. Can we all have a special toast for Richard's quadruplehood???

Catland... e-i-e-i-o. Scrapple comes in a brick shape and is sliced and fried. I dust a little bit of flour over it so it's a bit crispy on the outside but still a wee bit soft on the inside. The trick is to slice it juuuuuust the right width. It's a pork product rather like sausage but not as spicy as some sausage. Don't confuse it with nasty stuff like "Treat" or "Spam" that are mostly pork "by-products" like pig lips and eyelids. ewwww, I'm grossing mySELF out talking about that yechy stuff. Scrapple is DELISH!

    ponderous thought -

If Jimmy cracks corn and no one cares, why is there a song about him?

    but seriously folks -

congrats on on the quad Richard.

lb - a couple more drinks and I'll be brave enough to try the scrapple - what kind of condiments should I fetch from the fridge?

    (besides more cherries for Mario)

These are not the droids you were looking for

Now where did that come from?

I'm calmly reading about scrapple and Richard's 4000th (and he thought his 40th was bad ) and Slick being confused and spending time with Mario and all of a sudden, out of the blue, you slap us with a question like this! Now I won't get any more work done this afternoon because I'll be wondering about this the rest of the day.

I think I need a DOTD please, Richard.

I'll be humming about poor ol' neglected Jimmy and his cracked corn all evening I bet. It's almost 4 p.m. and I've been here since 7 a.m. I'm ready to crack more than corn, couple of cold ones sound just about right. Did you manage to use your "U" catland? Or was T&P's mom stingy with her Q?

I don't think this will keep the format correctly, but here is what we have so far.

    across......h-u-n-k

down.....q-u-e using the u of hunk

down.....s-t-i-n-k using the k of hunk

so whoever's turn is next, if you can right this down and take their turn before Mario eats the pieces......

Don't worry about Mario, he seems to have developed a taste for scrapple, especially when it's soaked in maple syrup Now lemme see, how can I best use my tiles on this board * heh heh heh - guess who has a blank *
