I remember when both the videos came out! That was when MTV was really MTV. They actually played music all the time. I sent them an email one time titled "I want my OLD MTV" Never got an answer, of course.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

So do I. I've even seen him in concert. During the concert, someone threw a bottle at him and he threatened to walk off the stage if they did it again. He was very angry but I would be too. Bottles can be very dangerous. Luckily no one threw any more bottles after that.

I wasn't into much music, but I did listen to weird al, abba (still do) cory heart, rita mcneal (wont be caught dead listening to her anymore), anne murry (not too bad), & sooo many other old music my dad listened too. I basically grew up with the music my dad has loves when he was young & hes now 54 (55 in oct.).

But abba is all I listen to now, ok with a bit of rickey martain, & greg (in the hall of the mountain king)

Gary Puckett and the Union Gap?

When I cam back to Cali he was playing weekly at a place near the airport - not really my fav artist but it was fun going there every weekend with a friend I'd made in college. this was around 78 - 79.
