My sister-in-law named her dog Jetta. She was bringing her black puppy home from the pound and was stopped at a light behind a black Volkswagon Jetta. The name just sort of clicked on the spot. She barks at anything outside that moves, and her husband has nicknamed her Barketta!

My cousin has 2 great Danes, and they're brothers. One is very handsome and smart and has a great personality and he is named Brain. And he is black except for a few white places. His brother sort of got all the left-over genes and he acts a little like Hitler sometimes. But his eyes sag a little, and he is mostly white with black speckles all over, and he is not quite as intelligent as Brain. Guess what his name is-
white, average-intelligence, brother of Brain. Everyone guess!!

It's gotta be Pinky. That's what my daughter calls our dogs, Jeffrey and Bandit. Bandit is very smart, a little stubborn. Jeffrey is a big goof ball. She calls them Pinky and the Brain from the cartoon.

I didn't name my dogs, I kept the names the previous owners had given them. We were going to change Jeffrey's name when we got him, but he was such a little terror getting into everything. We were constantly saying JEFFREEEEEEY, STOP. JEFFREEEEEEY, NO. So we said forget, it stays. Bandit came from such a loving family who are good friends and we didn't think once of changing his name.

Ihg0962- You live in Greenville? I live in Fort Mill!!! Ever heard of Teaching KATE or Camp Greenville? In 4th or 5th grade, i went there on field trips!!! CONNECTIONS
neways, Pinky is right. He broke his leg in 4 places recently (!) because when they put electric fencing in, the dogs are so big that they don't care, they can just run right through it. Pinky did that chasing after a car and they found him lying in the road a few hours later and thought he was dead! but he wasn't, just hurt really bad.
    But now he's recuperating yay!

I certainly know about Camp Greenville. I've been there myself, and my daughter wants to be there this coming summer herself!
Good to know there is another dog lover so close by!

    I have 3 mini schnauzers.
Healthy - the puppy we bought before her died of parvovirus. So when we bought her we want her to be healthy and happy.

Cookie - I like the Cookie Monster.

Donna - Looks like a pretty girly name.

My solid black mixed breed terrier was named Raisin. When I first brought her home at 6 weeks a friend said she looked like a raisin and the name just seemed to fit. My husband said the next male dog we get he is going to name him Riley because around our house a dog lives a life of Riley.
