Sallyanne, it would be good if you had some time to spend with the 2 of them because you cannot expect them to be friends from the first moment. Even Tigris and Filou who met each other at the age of 12 weeks (Tigris) and 15 weeks (Filou) did ignore each other for a week's time
And Bengals as well as Abys are not the let's all be together and have a boring afternoon cats.
But they will be a beautiful couple for sure.

Regarding the Aby kitten. When our boys were a year old and closest friends we could have got a Somali half sister of Tigris. Her name was Filia and we thought she could mix up the balance between F + T and didn't take her. We still talk about that kitten now as F+T are mature gentlemen who are no longer as close as they used to be.

Sallyanne, I'm so glad that you've decided to adopt another cat. I think a new cat will help both you and Miley to heal emotionally. Ti is gorgeous and I also love his name. If you shortened Miley's name to Mi and then called both of your cats names with Miley's being first then you have Mi Ti which also sounds like the drink. I was also going to wait until the summer to adopt another cat but I recently adopted Cirrus this past Monday. Although I've only had him for a short time, he's brought so much joy to my life. He's really helped my healing process too. I sure hope that you're able to adopt Ti this weekend but if not then hopefully on Tues. Good luck. All fingers and paws are crossed.

Tuesday will be the day - just don't know much beyond that. As I may have mentioned, the woman who is giving me the cat is out of town this weekend so I don't expect to hear from her until tomorrow.

I am arranging the day off work, if necessary, for Tuesday. What we do for our pets!
