    Heidi on the back step

Heidi sitting out on the back step early Tuesday afternoon, reminds me of what Fritz used to do.While playing yesterday,Heidi peed in front of the fireplace while reaching for a toy and got a timeout, had another play after that jumping the bed to get the toy and bring it to me.This morning, after breakfast, she went to mom's room and got her up,she has a play with Mom with the Monkey, was biting at Mom's slippers then sat in my chair, had a little play with me.I brought her down here, had a little play then napped. She went to the cage,we went shopping. She had a snack after we were back, had supper before we did then stays down here while we eat and is quiet. After supper, she has had two timeouts for biting at Mom,is now under my chair. She likes her chin rubbed,Mom does it and she kind of purrs like a cat.She is going to get needles on Friday, she is going to be spayed and micro chipped, same vet we used for Fritz.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

    Bottle play,with Mom

Heidi late last night playing with a water bottle,Mom had just come home from playing cards,it was after 11,Heidi had slept a lot and was raring to go,we had a play of fetch and Heidi this morning up on the couch with Mom.She was pretty good last night, slept a lot,had a snack and a drink, was out a couple of times, was out when Mom got home. This morning after her breakfast, she went to mom's room clawing at the bed to get her up,she then was biting Mom,nipping at her,me also, she sat up with me in the chair ,had a play with toys with Mom before that. She beat me down here again this morning, but had to chase her,she went upstairs and she is hard to catch, she is at my feet now,has been doing a lot of snorting, probably her way of sighing.Mom will ask the vet about her biting,it is probably to do with her teething, will see what the vet has to say.We had a rain/snow mix overnight, had some wet flurries this morning, still doing that now, around 32-34 degrees
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

Snuggy with me,lapping up with Mom

Heidi snuggled up to me this morning sand on Mom's lap.She had a couple of plays of fetch with me,had some Iams bones, she is eating her food too much, she is 15 pounds, far as I know she did not have a timeout last night. She went right to her bed last night, this morning after eating went to Mom's room,Mom was her up,she had a play of fetch with mom with the Monkey,me too and sat on Mom 's lap then with me.All she has done down here is snooze, had to put her in her cage,I did vacuuming down here.mom got her a new collar, put her dog tag on,while eating her lunch,it rattled on the dish, she was startled by it.She is now outside wandering around on the patio,Mom has gone to lunch with two ladies, around 4 we take Heidi to the vets,I am sure everything will go fine.

    Heidi with a Squeaky Toy

Heidi this morning playing with the squeaky. We took her to the vet yesterday, she was really good, she wanted to greet all the dogs and people there, tail never stopped going. She got a canine booster and a rabies shot, got a rabies tag to go on her collar, will get another booster when she goes to be spayed on April 21st.She can't after 6 p.m. the night before, can only drink water, she has to be there at quarter to nine on the 21st and we pick her up between 4 and 6 in the afternoon, she also get a chip put in,all this costs $360.She is a tad chubby 15 pounds, the vet told us to get Adult food for her,the puppy food has more calories than the adult brand. She is also taking a couple of heartworm pills. She loved the vet,Doctor Hoogers, was kissing him during the examination, she is in good health. There was dog there that looked like Fritz, there was also another Shih Tzu,same color, the dog was 6 and a half years old.She was good on the way over, was not car sick and the way back was fine also, she had a snooze when she got home then woke up and had a play of fetch before settling down. She went to Mom's room after breakfast,Mom was already up,she was going to breakfast with some ladies,I brought her down here where she snoozed,I went out and do Spring cleanup here, may do Marlene's on Tuesday, supposed to rain on Monday all day,did her vacuuming Friday afternoon, she can't do a lot,Mom is doing her laundry,Taffy was sleeping at the bottom of the stairs going to the kitchen. We lost a member of our church choir yesterday, had a Aneurysm, will be remembering her in prayers tomorrow at church.

    On the patio,Snoozing

Heidi out on the patio Saturday and in the afternoon snoozing under the chair. She was outside a few times yesterday, really loves the outdoors, once it gets warmer will get her out on the leash to go for a walk. With me down here, all she does is snooze and chew on toys, she waits until mom is down her and she wants to play, she had a play with mom while I was up in the tub,she had a couple of plays with me later on.In between plays, she would snooze,go outside and have Iams bones.he stayed in the rec room while we went to McDonald's,didn't do anything wrong. After she ate this morning, went and got Mom up.After breakfast, has a play with the Monkey then brought her down here, she just snoozed down here.I brought her up here after getting ready for church,Larry phoned,as soon as Mom gets on the phone she starts biting Mom,does it all the time and put her in the bed. After coming some, fed her her supper,is chewing on a rope bone right now.The vet told us if she bites, give her a toy to bite or put her in her cage, giving her a toys works, the cage not so sure, have tried that twice during the night and it doesn't work.Rain later this afternoon and overnight, maybe a thunderstorm, rain tomorrow, heavy at tomes and 54,out in the Prairie provinces, they are getting snow, one place today,Regina,Saskatchewan was to get 4 inches.

    Heidi Flipped Over

Heidi flipped over last night just before we went to bed.Earlier in the evening, she got a timeout for biting Mom,was doing it again,I had a talk with her,she quit and came over to me at the computer,we had a play of fetch, she also chewed on a water bottle. This morning after eating breakfast,Heidi went to get Mom up,from one side of the bed to the other she went,Mom heard her doing it,I put Heidi up there and she kissed Mom.Heidi was with me in the chair this morning and Mom,then was up on the couch with her, then got down and was biting at Mom's slipper so brought her down here where she has snoozed most of the time, has had a snack now snoozing again.Mom took Marlene to get clamps out form the surgery,a wet day today, maybe an inch or so.

Barry and Heidi, I can only imagine how cute this must have been! With you talking and Heidi listening

Sounds like you're getting the rain we got overnight. It was 75F in Chicago yesterday, 45F today. But we did need some rain.

    Flipppin,Snoozin,With Mom

Heidi snoozing next to her rope toy late Monday morning, paw resting on the toy, flipped over next to the toy and this morning with Mom on the couch.Heidi was quiet for me last night when Mom went to a church meeting, snoozing, going out and eating, she got soaked outside,it was raining heavily, dried her off and brushed her.Once mom,was home, she was at Mom's feet, doesn't really bother my feet at all.I talked to her again,it didn't work, she had a timeout before Mom went for biting and licking Mom's clothes.it wasn't until mom was hone, she had a play wit her squeaky and Monkey, she doesn't like the sound of the plastic bottle cracking when I do it,when Mom does, she tries to grab it from her.She greeted Mom this morning ,I had to grab her,she goes at Mom's feet and Mom can't get out of bed.Heidi sat with Mom in the chair and with me,had a play with the Monkey, sat with Mom in the chair, has been out and is down her,has snoozed a bit and biting on the Monkey, just wandering about now at my feet.it is overcast now, high of 41 cool wind gusts today, tomorrow, maybe a shower and wet flurries and 46,sunny Thursday.

Heidi, I wonder what it is with you and mom's feet? That doesn't sound good.

    Flippin and Sleepin

Heidi flipped over down here Tuesday afternoon and last night sleeping, her head on the monkey , using it as a pillow.Heidi didn't have a timeout last night, she had her plays of fetch with the Monkey and rubber rope bone, got a new water bottle to chew on,the noise of it crunching doesn't bother her, tags on her collar do when they hit the food dish. This morning, woke up Mom ,was with both of us our chairs, had a play of fetch with the Monkey, brought her down here to play, she had a snooze. She went to the groomer today, she sat right up on my lap and was watching vehicles go by,she greeted Michelle when she got there.Heidi wanted some of their lunch, she didn't get it,she said she was a little heavy,we were told by the vet,she gets Adult food which is less in calories. She has a red checked scarf on,she looks like she is advertising Purina Dog food. Heidi had a snooze after coming home, had some food, was down here snoozing again, stays here quietly when we eat supper upstairs, had a bit more food, she is front of mom's chair chewing on the rubber bone.
