    Well Anna this sort of seems to have had a happy ending. I do hope she realizes how fortunate she is that you found them. We'll all rest a little easier now knowing that you have your eyes open for them in case this should ever happen again.

    Another Pet Talk heroine!! Anna, it sounds like you did the right thing. I would also suggest microchipping them. I have a friend whose Pit mix dog has allergies to collars also. She never has one on, but never leaves the house. Blanca is very fair skinned Pit with thin hair too.


    Don't buy while shelter dogs die!!

    I think you did the right thing too Anna.

    And on the offchance you do see them again, I'd call her, tell her you have her dogs and if you see them again, you'll be finding them new homes.

    Either that, or find them new homes the second time around.

    But lets hope she does better at keeping them home.

    How is it that BOTH dogs could be allergic to collars. If that were the case with my dog, I'd have them chipped.
