I just heard from Groucho a little while ago. They arrived back in the Bronx in time to enjoy a nice dinner before heading to the stadium for a Yankee win tonight. Don't worry, Elyse, Cassie is on her very best behavior as are all the kitties. Tomorrow the Catmobile Contingent will be going to see New York City from up top the Empire State Building! Groucho also said the kitty fans are looking to get their team kitty collars. No idea of when our travellers will be heading back home. Everyone is having a blast!

GOOOOO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!
We stayed up all night celebrating and Groucho is getting good locations for us to be on the parade on Friday... this is soooo cool!!!
Lady Edwina was very happy because we went to Fifth Avenue and later today we'll go to Bloomingdales... we're having a great time!!
Gorgeous as usual,

Dear kitty Purrents,
It seems our trip has been extended by vote. We will be on the road Sunday evening after all the festivities in NYC. Now I think I know what Sophie, Cassie, and Sparkler were up to. It seems the Catmobile driver had a line on some Canadian catnip mousies (I wonder where they came from!). They're denying any responsibility, but Fister seemed to find out the inside scoop. Even though the Phillies didn't win, we're having a great time, and both teams were very nice and generous with their time when we were in their towns.
Well, back to the party, see you soon!
Love, Pinot![]()
GO RAVENS!!
I thought this would be a good theme picture for the trip:

GO RAVENS!!
Poppy called.. They had a FANTASTIC time in the Championship Parade today, riding on their own float along with the players as the crowds cheered. And they just went WILD chasing after all the paper scraps that kept raining down on them!
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Well, it's the end of the road, kitties-time to go home! We've had an excellent trip, the Yankees and the Phillies have been great hosts, Aunt Gussie gave us a great meal at the diner, Groucho & his mom stocked the Catmobile in fine style, MooShoo got us a good keg to share, we've had fantastic shopping, there were contraband catnip mousies from...who knows who...what a trip!!
We'll all be home for our home team football games (go Ravens) on Sunday. See you soon!
Love, Pinot
GO RAVENS!!
Home at last! Fellow kitties, was this a trip to beat 'em all or what? First of all, I want to send an extra special thank you to our dear friend and co-pilot Pinot. Because of her expert planning and map reading, everyone had a ride and all points of interest were reached easily. All that and we never missed a moment of World Series action. And the action was non stop! This was a very exciting series, both teams played exceptionally well. Phillies fans, you have nothing to feel bad about. Your guys played great baseball, put everything they had into the game, and never gave up. Kudos to the Phillies for fighting the good fight!
Word has it that Bob won the World Series pool that many of the kitties participated in. Sparkler is still very excited about catching that ball, what a great catch, Sparkler, we're sooo proud of you!
The Phillies were gracious hosts when we were there. They let us sit in on their strategy session. It was Fister's suggestion on pitching that won game 5for them. Chase Utley received a Catmobile kitty thank you for helping that poor doggie last year and got an honorary ride in the Catmobile for his kindness.
Purrents, your kitties will be sleeping almost as soon as they walk in the door. So many parties, so much food, so many great people. Pinot, be sure to tell Aunt Gussie how much we loved visiting with her and sharing dinner together at her favorite diner. She gave each of us some scritchies before we left for the game. It's too bad she couldn't join us.
Okay fellow kitties, until our next Catmobile adventure to..............
Your friend,
Groucho

adventure to...
the conversation in the Catmobile was the Winter Olympics...hmmm?![]()
GO RAVENS!!
Yay, yay, yay! Cassie would LOVE to visit Vancouver for the Winter Olympics in February 2010! If it is okay with the other kitties she would like to see free-style skiing. If I were going, I would attend curling to learn how it is played.
