    Fritz Taking It Easy

Fritz relaxing on the sidewalk Monday morning, later on strolling around and then cooling off under the shade of the tree and today sitting on the front step, never said a word, watching things going on,birds feeding and Squirrels playing.last night ,he had a treat of Ice Cream, finished mine then finished Mom's Ice cream Cone. After all this,he went under the small couch.he didn't come up to bed right away, did after a few minutes and had a quiet nap.Fritz was waiting at the door when I came in from putting garbage out,he had to go out and lay on the patio. He then came in and went to the window .He was all wound up and had a play with his Monkey and was then on Mom's lap.We had to go the bank today, there was a lady in line with a Bichon puppy maybe 2 or 3 months old, cute dog.Right now it is 84 feeling like 99 with humidity, and there is a severe thunderstorm watch for this afternoon,Fritz most likely be in his cage when that happens ,Taffy will be uptight about it also, there was fox in the field behind Marlene and Larry's last night, second time in the last few weeks, called Animal control, they can't do nothing, had to get Wildlife people from Toronto.Fritz is now curled up in the kitchen ,trying to stay cool, there is some breeze coming in.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

Fritz snoozing in the window this morning.Fritz has a new habit,he lets us go to bed and he stays under the couch with the light all off and he comes up in the dark a few minutes later and goes to sleep. Fritz woke me up at 25 to 6 this morning,a person was walking a Husky and he doesn't like those dogs, there is one at the corner just north of us,probably is that one.he had been out side already, probably now behind the couch.Ha took the TV remote, got a piece of Salami to ge it,yesterday he had one of Mom's good shoes he found in her bedroom, got a wiener to get it from him.Today he goes to the groomer for 10,will look rather handsome, probably will see the cats and the groomer's Collies. Thanks cassiesmom for the comment on how our lawn and garden looks,Dad would like it,especially the flowers, namely the geraniums.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

Fritz begging for the last part of Mom's Ice Cream Cone from dessert.Fritz layed on the floor of the van for the ride to the groomers.Once there he tugged on the leash and then got to the door going down, jumped at it,then at the one at the bottom. He saw a cat there and his tail was going, the groomer's Collie was in a cage, had a drink of water when I was there. When we to get Fritz, the cat was sleeping on top a crate.I picked up Fritz to take him to the van,he would most likely would have been stubborn and wouldn't move.Tonight ,Fritz had slept on the coffee table, now is under the big couch, will come out as soon as i bring some Ice cream down to him.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

Fritz strolling out on the front lawn after supper Thursday.had a little play with the monkey after supper, had it down here trying to bury it then went upstairs and back again, left it under the coffee table.Fritz stayed under the couch after we went up to bed last night,he came up a few minutes after that and went top sleep on the bedspread. It rained between 3 and 4 this morning,no thunder,I saw him laying on the mat at my bedroom door,he did come back to the bedspread after this.Fritz went out after getting up,then went to the kitchen and is sleeping a corner ,doesn't has breakfast lately with us.Right now it looks like it could rain at anytime, hope there is no thunder with it,if so,he would go to his cage.

There's my cute little buddy!! Fritz you make such a cute watchdog in front of the house. If a burgler came along, he would just want to pet you. I agree with cassiesmom, Barry, your place is always beautiful. Your Dad would be so proud for sure. You do a really good job of keeping it gorgeous.
Salami, eh Fritz? Something new for you. You always do some new tricks to get everything you can don't you? I can't believe how clever you are. I'm glad you had fun at the groomer's. You are a very fluffy and handsome boy!!!

He's really cute....he reminds me of the dog my parents had. She was 3/4 poodle, and a 1/4 cocker, but she looked a lot like fritz when she wasn't clipped. I like the name Fritz, too. When I was a kid, we had a standard dachshund named Fritz. Really enjoy the updates on Fritz's life and his love for his family.

    Strolling,Resting,Waiting for Ice Cream

Fritz strolling on the front lawn Saturday, resting on the steps, after supper on my lap after a play with his Monkey and on Mom's lap waiting for her Ice cream cone,he gets the last couple of pieces. Before that, had his own Ice cream and cleaned my bowl, played with a water bottle, then snoozed under the couch. He waited a few minutes to come up and he had a quiet night, just rained,no thunder.Didn't have breakfast,he was in the window, when was going to the couch, tried to pick him up to put him outside ,he growled, tried again when he was behind the couch, growled again.

What a little performer you are, buddy!! You are the perfect little man in front of the house. Always looking so well groomed ad adorable. What's with all this growling, cutie? You're just your own man aren't you? That ice cream cone that Mom is holding looks tasty. Daisy and Delilah got a little vanilla ice cream yesterday. They don't get much but they think they get alot
