tattoos?

I don't have one, and am not sure I'd ever want one. Who knows, sometimes I think it's be neat to have Tango and future dogs of mine with a couple paw prints and other times I just think of how awful it might look when I get old.

i love the paw print thing Kay said. i actually talked about getting Gracie's paw on me a few months ago, but i never got around to doing it. i could get a tattoo at any time, i'm just lazy.lol ya know ya never use what you have available to ya(my mom is a tattoo artist).

Yes but most of the time someone has a tattoo it is some motorcyclist big burly guy who has one (at least here that is the case). And not trying to be rude here but society isn't going to get over these stereotypes types anytime soon so if you don't want to be stereotyped you shouldn't put yourself there. All I am trying to say is that there are other ways to express yourself. But if you want to get a tattoo suit yourself. and even if you aren't bad a lot of parents will see you as a bad influence on their kids. I don't agree with stereotyping either but sometimes we just have to put up with it.

Nope. There's nothing in the world I'd want printed on my body for the rest of my life.... And I get grossed out seeing old people with saggy, old tattoo's.

I am 45 and in my era tattoos had a bad stigma but I think that has totally changed. Not sure I would ever get one but I like them on others if they are tasteful.

i spend hours upon hours in a tattoo shop every day. only 1 in about every 150 people are big burly motorcycle people. decked out in leather chaps. most of the people that come into the shop for tattoos are people between the ages of 18-30. normal people you see walking down the street. you'd be amazed just "who" gets tattoos. my mom has tattooed 2 catholic priests, school teachers, 80yr old grandmothers, etc. there is a guy named Brian that comes into the tattoo shop nearly every day. he's COVERED in tats! but they are everywhere but his hands, head and neck. no one knows he has them until he takes off his shirt. he reveals all the hours of hard work that my mom has put into his tats. people are often shocked. he's such a well mannered, upper class kind of guy.

i understand that media makes everyone think that tattoo shops are dirty, scummy, and places that no one should go. in reality a lot of them are. there are some NASTY shops out there! fortinatly the health department has said that our shop is as clean if not cleaner than a docter's office.

NEVER. They look Terrible when you get old. They cost a lot of money. They are difficult, painful and expensive to remove. And to me, nothing looks worse than a beautiful girl in an evening gown or a handsome man in a nice white dress shirt and all you can see is the tattoo.

Small tasteful ones aren't too bad but still. We expect people to look professional in the work place, I just don't think they can look professional with a big tattoo hanging out of their sleeve. Sure it doesn't say anything about their personalities or their professionalism but you know what they say about first impressions.

I know it could be wrong to think of stereotypical tattoos, but can everyone honestly say that they've never felt even just the slightest bit intimidated when you're walking somewhere quiet on your own and a huge man drenched in tattoos walks by? I know I do. Of course they could be perfectly nice people but it's the initial image they give. I mean, everybody I know parent's would have told their kids to stay away from people like that, that is NOT meant offensively it's just the way it is.

Well, I've always wanted a tattoo and the time has come to get one, sometime this year anyway. And all of you who hate to see old people with tattoos will not need to avert your eyes, it will won't be large nor on anywhere that sags!

I have 4, my oldest is 4+ years old and I haven't regretted getting any of them yet. I do planning on getting at least one more in the future. They're all in fairly inconspicuous places (hips, ankle, upper back). Many people are shocked when they see one of my tattoos peeking out

our website is being worked on at the moment, but we do have a myspace page that has some of the work she's done on it. she is VERY good at portraits. she does quite a few. my personal favorite was the Vizsla portrait she did on one of my dog show friends.

you should definatly come to get a tat! bring that adorable pup of your too!
