    Yesterday (Tuesday) Makes

    12 DAYS!!!

He seems to be really excited to be eating out of his own bowl again, LOL. I just wonder what has made the difference? The food? The water? The litter change? Guess we'll never know cause I'm not going to try to find out!

You got that right... if it's working just go with it!
So happy to hear that the news is so good about Brody, since tummy rubs might not be such a good idea right now would you give him some scritchies from me?

Well guys, looks like 12 days is as far as we made it.

Brodie puked up his snack today.

I'm not terribly upset though because the vet told me to expect that he would just start puking *less* . . . I shouldn't have expected him to quit cold turkey.

I haven't fed him anymore since . . . thought I'd give him awhile to recoop. I will feed him wet food later tonight, before we go to bed, see if that stays down. I just hope & pray that the cycle doesn't start all over again!

Let's hope and pray that this is only a mild setback, and that Brodie is still on his way to complete recovery. There always seems to be a :::hiccup::: in the road to recovery, whether it is for hoomans or furbabies. Keep the faith!

Well Brodie, you almost made it a full two weeks. I hope you just had a setback and you'll have another 12 day streak without any puking.

Oh Christa, I hope this is just a little setback for dear Brodie.

Come on Brodie, you were doing so well. Make this your last time of being sick, okay sweetie.

Maybe cut back on the portions again a little bit?

Is there drinkable aloe for cats? Sure works healing wonders for the humans I have seen use it. Cats wouldn't like the flavour...maybe mix a bit in with some wet food...

I used the gel on a cat who has meds and occ'l bloody stool - MUCH better now. Just a little clump or it on the muzzle(again, a flavour thing).

You'll be ok, Brodie! HUGS from Catty1

Brodie puked again this morning. That means he's puked 4 times in the past week. Not totally horrible, but disappointing none the less.

I have a theory. I'm going to test it out.

Yes, I have increased his intake, but not by *that much* . . . I've only increased his morning breakfast amount by probably 10 kibbles. What worries me more is HOW FAST he eats! He's a little manic!!!

Before, when I was getting him adjusted and he was on his "no vomit streak" I was hand feeding him, to slow him down. Maybe that was helping?

I am going to try that again. Just for a few days, see if it does make a difference. I don't know how else to slow him down!!!
