    I have a confession to make.....

    Last night I started my list......a list of things to pack.....

    Am I excited, or what!!!!

    Now it's time to start whitening my teeth......
    Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

    Slick, perhaps "green" would be a better color than white...........then they would match the slushies

    I see everyone is ready for this BBQ!

    I've been searching for a reasonable room and came up with 3 possibilities. I'm not looking for luxurious accomodations; I can handle not-so -good neighborhoods. Can someone aim me in the right direction of these three?

    Quality Inn, 1901 W. Olympic 90006 $68
    Comfort Inn , 1710 W. 7th 90017 $60
    Hollywood Downtowner, 5601 Hollywood Blvd 90026 $73

    No transportation to/from LAX, but I'll figure that out later.

    Mary, sorry I can't help. I'm sure Gini will pipe in here when she has time.

    Meanwhile, I've brought out one of my carry-on cases....and started packing....things like my Pet Talk visor, certain recipes, airline confirmation....

    hello..

    I still would like to know what are our colors?! maybe that blue with red.. pet talk's colours, hm?

    (gals & guys, I now don't know if I will go... two mystery friends who said they could go, now said 'no'. I still hope to find someone who can come because I'll be driving all way down there and back alone! I love driving but you know, for my safety..)

    gini or anyone, do you know how to mix up a virigin pina colada? I can't have slushies...and can bring stuff for pinas! (they're soooooo heavenly!!) and maybe I'll be brining food-coloring for our pina coladas, for anyone else who wants it too!
