To spoil all of our pets is one thing..........but to be spoiled with presents too is just overwhelming.

I have to tell you that when I opened up my own package from KAK - Tracey - that I got big tears in my eyes.

Instantly you could tell that she had made our visors and with great care and attention to detail. My own visor has a big FAT ORANGE kitty grinning away, right in the front.

I know Tracey, that when the dust settles you will be receiving many thank you messages from everyone.

Here is my public thank you, but you will receive a note from me as well.

When Slick met Laurie in Seattle, Slick surprised Laurie with a MARIO!!!

This particular Mario is exceptionally talented because he can kick his legs and make non-stop monkey noises!

ZippyKat and Slick made a diaper for the Mario you see in the picture. Then they "turned him on" - (sorry for the pun - oh, I am not sorry at all ) When he kicked his legs he managed to work his diaper down around his ankles.

It was just like being at Thursdays and we hooted and hollered and howled. The only thing is he just wouldn't stop monkeying around and ONLY Laurie could calm him down and get him to be quiet!

The guy next to Mario is a "wanna be" Mario.

Well actually he isn't "HUNG" - he is sitting on the handle that opens and closes the umbrella. To keep his head up straight and not let him escape, his collar was wrapped around the umbrella pole.

See MR. FISH?????

Hmmm...thanks for clearing that up Gini. When Kfmar first posted this, I thought the poor bunny maybe had something....oh, that's not nice....glad he was just "sitting" on the handle.

And yes, Mr. Fish makes his first appearance! Zippy and Slick were turning on Mario?!!?? Was this before or after the green slushies?

And that seals it! I want a visor so I'll be there next year!

The visors are wonderful, KAK.

And I am sure LA airport has never seen such stunning committees at the arrival gate

Sadly, the Second Annual California BBQ weekend has come to a close.

Richard and I took Slick and Mizz Zippy to the airport this morning.

Thank goodness security is so tight that they won't let you stay curbside very long. Otherwise tears would have been flowing in a serious way.

We aren't allowed to go to the gates anymore and we saw police about every 200 feet all along the route through the airport.

It is a sad reminder of the times that we live in.

Please everyone, say a little prayer that Slick and Zip have a safe journey back to their homes.

And as Richard said, just think, it is only 362 days until the THIRD ANNUAL CALIFORNIA BBQ!!!!!
