Southwest Airlines site - they're going to be 15 minutes EARLY getting into
    Albuquerque, NM!

    After an hour lay-over, Zipp leaves New Mexico and flies over to Midland, Texas;
then hops into the Zippy-mo-bile and drives back to Hobbs, New Mexico.

    Drive SAFE, Zippy-Kat!!

Should be some HAPPIE FurKids in Hobbs tonight!

    Call me clueless

For those of you who were'nt aware, Slick (aka Slice), did the sweetest thing by sending us all a care package with Canadian goodies.

I THOUGHT that my package included a little scented candle in a glass container.

It wasn't until I bothered to look at it more closely last night that I realized that she had sent me laundry soap.

(I think I need new glasses)

These are not the droids you were looking for

After an uneventful but scary first leg (turbulence) and an all-too-informative second leg (got to hear all about the marriage problems of the couple sitting next to me (he's having an affiar, she's lazy and doesn't excite him anymore -- oh yeah and "happy birthday honey, I forgot until just now"), I made impeccable time on the way home.

And what a homecoming! Mom said that when K'Cee heard my car pull in the drive way she booked it to the door. I missed my girl! She is, however, rather upset as my luggage and clothes smell "orange." (We're remedying this by rolling around on them as much as possible.) And since I brought her a pressie (pink glittery collar from the airport's Bow-Wow-Meow), all is forgiven.

At any rate, I made it home a couple of hours ago and all is well.

I believe Stace should be at the airport and Gini on the way back home (if not already there). Not sure if Kelly was going to the airport or back to Newbury Park...

Pics might have to wait until tomorrow. I'm getting ready to unpack my suitcase then (possibly) clean the mess that the window-installer-guys made today (dust EVERYWHERE). If I'm not fallin' asleep by then, I'll post 'em.

    {{A very big THANK YOU to Gini for opening the House of Orange for another fabulous event!}}

    WELCME HOME, Zippy-Kat!!

Isn't it nice to return to a HAPPIE Greeting -
and to know you've been *missed*!?

Sorry 'bout the *bumpie* first half ...
and the Tails that came with the second half

Pictures would be nice - but get your beauty sleep in!

Less'ee ... it's now about 1:00 am Eastern - Miz Staci still has an Hour to wait
before her Big Byrd (Delta #1454) takes off from LAX at 11:00 pm Cali Time.

She's due to arrive at Columbus, Ohio, at 06:16 AM (in the MORNING)!
Hope Mom & Dad (the Airport Limo Service) remembered to set the alarm clock!

    SAFE Flight, Staci!!

Just remembered.... Miss Staci & parental units were going directly from the airport to breakfast with the nephews (Staci's choice "AS LONG AS IT'S NOT MCDONALD'S" says Mrs. M. LL) We may not hear from her until later in the morning. (She is suppose to text/email me but considering her flight gets in at 4AM my time, I may not hear it go off.)

Happy landing, Miss Staci -- have a good breakfast and check in when you can!

It is now 10:47 pm Los Angeles time - and Staci should be on the plane by now getting ready for the 11 pm takeoff.

While we were in the car going to the airport we got a phone call from Zipp that she was back on solid ground safely once again. That made all of us happy.

Kelly and I drove Staci to the airport and it was a very tearful goodbye - happily it was so crowded at the curb that no one rushed us to move the car as they usually do.

Kelly and I came back home and ate some leftovers and Kelly just left to go home and work tomorrow.

It is sooooo quiet in my house and very sad too - the end of another wonderful time with Pet Talkers. We keep saying Pet Talkers are the very best people in the world - this year proved that to be true once again.

So many people helped me in so many ways - it would take pages to thank everyone for all that they did - just know how deeply grateful I am for everything.

I am also grateful that I can put this event on - but MOST of all, I am grateful for the wonderful friends that I have met through Pet Talk - and how much fun, laughter and joy they have brought me.

This is the first year I can tell you that I am completely out of bottled water.......but there are plenty of slushie fixings left. Could it have been the heat?

Barbara, yes, I have a few more pictures to post - but not tonight. I know
others have more pictures too and they will eventually show up. We need to drag out the fun as long as possible .

Do you know what is just awful? "I" have to go to work tomorrow too.

    Night everyone.................................

    Talking

    Gini,

I think it is truly amazing how you open your home to people you "barely" know, and open your heart to everyone who comes knockin.

One day, Nicole and I will arrive ...............

    I'm home, Mom!!

I had a safe drive home, no crazies, people making out, turbulance or screaming babies. Just me, being sad that this weekend + is over and all my friends are home (or on the way there)...I miss you all, already!!

It was a WONDERFUL few days. Thank you ALL...especially to those who flew out and shared their hard earned vacation time with us. And of course to our "Mom" for opening her home to everyone and making this possible.

    Love you all!

    Hugs, Kelly

Arrow Staci's back On the Ground!

    7:00 am and I can't sleep ...
    So call Staci ...

Working some 3rd shifts must allow ya to sound *chipper* at 7 am ...

She's back in Columbus (in one piece) and WITH luggage claimed
(brite scarf tied to suitcase makes your stand out )

They're headed to Bob Evans for breakfast ... then I think Staci wants
to check the FurKids and the BigBed.

    WELCME Home, Staci!!

That is the very best news........to wake up in the morning and learn that
    everyone got home safely.

And all of the furkids are mad..........they are past the "Wow, am I glad to see you" stage - and are on to........"but why did you leave me?"
