Yes, I'm a Pittsburgher. I live in the North Hills with my two goldens, 1 cat, 1 guinea pig, 1 betta fish and a snail not to mention the skin family!

Steeler madness has struck this town so hard I'm afraid a lot of people will be totally depressed if they lose. Good thing we don't have to worry about that!!! GO STEELERS!!!!

I have to laugh......I'm not a sports fan, never have been.

I was flipping through the channels just now looking for something interesting to watch.

I stopped on CBS. There's an hour program on the Superbowl's Best Commercials. You get to choose the best commercial from the past 40 years.

Strangely enough I feel like bringing out the beer and potato chips.

Being from the West Coast....go Seahawks!!

Pittsburgh is a happy city this morning! Last night every Terrible Towel was waving. What a fairytale ending for the Steelers, with this being Jerome Bettis's last game, one for the thumb, and the 10 year drought is over for Bill Cowher and Art Rooney Jr. Luv Ya Black & Gold!

First let me say, congratulations Steelers. You played a better game and deserved to win.

But I must say the officiating was pretty bad. The call made on the Seahawks at their first touchdown isn't even made on the high school level and the Steelers first touchdown wasn't a touchdown. The ball didn't make it over the line. When you watch the ref at that end of the field, to me it looks like he was initially going to call short by inches but changed his mind to touchdown.

Regardless, I don't think the Seahawks played at the same level as the Steelers, so as much as I hate to say it, the Steelers deserved that win.

What a crazy game! I'm so happy for the Steelers - Jerome ended his career on such a high note. It was like a fairy tale for him. WOOHOO!

    Now this is just ridiculous!

They had a parade today in Downtown Pittsburgh today in celebration of the Steelers winning the Super Bowl. It lasted for about 2 1/2 hours. I think it was exciting for the town in general with over 40,000 people attending.

What I find ridiculous though is that a very large school district in the area actually cancelled classes for all students because of the parade. Their logic is that the majority of the kids would skip classes anyway. I personally think this was wrong. My son went to school and wanted to know why I wouldn't let him skip or why his school couldn't be cancelled.

I knew about the parade, but cancelling school? That's a bit over the top...
