Some of you may have been following her thread about her knee surgery in Dog Health. We woke up this morning and her leg was swollen up, terribly! We just got back from the Emergency Vet. Lacey has an infection in her leg. It's swollen up to three times the normal size. They gave her an injection of a stronger antibiotic (she was already on some) and stronger pills to start tomorrow. She's also starting a diuretic(sp?) to help reduce the swelling. She has to see our vet tomorrow, they may have to open her leg up somewhere to drain.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, all we want is our girl to be able to walk. She has been through so much already.
