As Karen said, most stupid questions are just opinions waiting to be changed! There are lots of people who weren't brought up with pets in the household, and thus lacking of practical knowledge! If they're interested, their questions are always welcome.

The questions I hate are those asked with a face showing disgust, as if you had something contagious or just making plain they think you're insane for sharing your life with a pet - THEN I have to hold my tongue and try to be civil! (in those moments, I think that they won't ever be irresponsible pet owners - the won't be pet owners at all!) In fact, I think a truly responsible pet owner is always interested in learning more from and for her pets! That's one thing I love most in this site, how we learn from each other!
