This is not meant to be offensive, but some people have a low-self esteem and don't think they are pretty. They just need some reassurance that they are. Besides, it doesn't matter what's on the outside, it's the inside that counts.

I would work on lighting in your pictures a little more... its not bright enough. Put two lamps or so in the room in front of you to light up your face.

Yes, we can take our own pictures. Basically, we just turn in a picture to the yearbook staff and they put it in. As long as it's good quality and not offensive, it can go in. Because we're seniors, we're the only ones allowed to do this, but I can't justify paying $300 for pictures *I* don't want!

As for the lighting, that's how "dark" most pictures are. In past yearbooks, they're not BRIGHT and cheery. They're darker. I can lighten in PSP, and I've done so to look at the difference. And we've also tried putting a lamp towards me - it doesn't look good at all.


So for everyone else - just based on the photos given, which one do you like?

Okay, here's my story. I'm being a cheap person and taking my own senior pictures. But, I haven't taken my "good ones" that we want to keep for ourselves yet. I've just taken my senior yearbook picture (plus some more to choose from!). I do have a delima (sp?) though. I can't decide which is the best picture to put in the yearbook. It'll have to be brought down to 2in X 3in - so most of them will be brought in from the sides. So take that into consideration.

Sorry I posted so many, guys. I was going to start a thread about which to choose, but this seems like an okay-enough plan because a lot of people will look at this thread.

You are very pretty also! I really like the third picture the best. My neice did the same thing for her Senior pictures. It was so much cheaper. She had a friend take the pictures. Here is the picture she used. It doesnt look real good because our scanner is broke so I tried taking a picture of the picture. They went up to the mountains, my neice sat on a rock with flowers behind it. Very pretty. I think anyway. Heres the picture.

LOL I actually pictured you with dark hair too...that's weird It's neat to be able to put a face to the names! I'm 26 now, but my picture is about 5 years old. I'll try to find a more recent one but I hate getting my picture taken. You probably thought I was older because most people my age are much better at computers than me

Actually your computer skills had nothing to do with it. It's your whole attitude and the way you are with people here. It is much more mature than a 26 year old. I thought you were older than me and her I am the old lady. I'll be 32 in december
