I make post # 30 (unless someone posts at the same time)...where's the other 161 replies to this thread? Cheers to the guests here, and prayers to all in need of them, and to hoping Rita dies. The HURRICANE!! (edit...I need a drink too while I'm popping in)! I'll have a mudslide...frozen por' favor!

Good grief, Richard. You made everyone answer on this one!!! Including me!!!!

It is good to be alive, isn't it? So many sad, scary things going on around us. This hurricane is scary, really scary. I do hope that all will be safe.

Serve me up whatever you're serving, just no brown liquor and no coconut. I think you already knew that!

It's been a long day for me and I'm hungry and thirsty.

May I please have a double BM and some onion rings. Ta!

So many people need prayers and hugs.....sending lots of them from little old me. Well, I may be old....but little???

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Hi, gang! I just got awake with the help of a furry, four-legged alarm clock named Daisy. Maybe a double slushie will get me back to dreamland. also, Pittsburgh prayers to anyone in Rita's path, and anyone needing prayers that are menntioned here.

Ok...after several mentions....it's obvious I missed something last week. Who/what is Rupert? Gini, have you taken to naming your....eeerrrrr.....battery operated devices?

Beautiful morning here again. We had a thunderstorm last night and I swear those boomers were two feet from my head!

Once again it's going to be a busy day, so I'll just have the usual to start with, but have the slushies ready for later - I think I'm going to need them.

Slick, I'm racking my brains trying to figure out what could have happened that won't cause problems until Monday? A virus that won't kick in until then maybe?

Debbie - you have heard of Extreme Makeover - or Extreme Makeover Home Edition??? Well, I had an attack of Extreme silliness last Friday and the above thread is the result.

However, Rupert IS here, alive, well and awaiting my next command.

Good morning everyone - think I will just stick to coffee this early - well, maybe a shot of Bailey's wouldn't hurt.

Let's hope for a GREAT day for everyone here!

    G-morning all!

Another day at the office...hooray. Oh well, I feel pretty darn good today :-) and I'm not going to let things get me down!

A slushie and 3 CNTs for the crew...and maybe something worked up for my little ratties, Cleo and Banana. I haven't been paying nearly enough attention to them lately

OK I will comply with Richard's rules of Thursdays, although I know there really are no rules here, just a good place to peek in for some upliftment (is that a word?) It's been a ROUGH week; everyone I know is having a hard time at work (including me) - must be the fall equinox or the planets are misalligned, or we could just blame it on George Bush or global warming. I keep telling myself, this too shall pass.

Mishi went to the vets for a follow-up ultrasound on Tuesday. No change in his kidneys although they did see the beginnings of a bladder stone, so the vet is changing his diet to Science Diet XD (instead of the KD he's been on). He's also lost about half a pound, they think - he was so rambunctious at the vet's office that they had a hard time getting him to sit still to get an accurate weight on him. He now has a rep at the vet .... poor guy. I still love my big goon, even though he is expen$ive to keep around. .... Except for his shaved belly, he seems fine to me and he likes the new food.

So, before the attorneys come in from court and start beating me up again, I'll have some whipped cream on a cuppa.

Now to get back to the brief .... groan. Is it Friday yet, anywhere on the planet?
