I hope so too PCB. But even with the ip address that could mean a couple of things.

1. being what so many others believe and that is she lied.
2. someone in her home did it either due to jealousy,vengence, or just no wanting her involved in PT.

and I am sure there are other reasons or explainations too.

Yeah, same here. I just really wish I knew all the truth behind this...Paula SEEMED like a great friend, but if she was lying...I'm not so sure...

And also, if the user's name DOES say "Banned" it means their user-name is blocked off by Karen, and they can't use it any more...it's not that they put "banned."

I talked to her last night.But i promised to keep it between me and her.She knows everyone thinks she's a liar,about how lexi got bloat,etc.and she said she's going to stay away from PT.thats why she didnt come and explain everything,and she's banned.

Well, I really liked her but I always wanten mre info on her horses. She got Chiquita and then one day she stopped talking about her at all and introduced Jewel. When I asked about Chiquita in the Jewel infroduction thread she didn't answer. I feel hurt, I really don't know what happened, she was such a good friend, and I love Lexi and Skye!

I am as I type this talking to Paula. She has read all the posts and wants me to pass on these words for now.

Paula wants you all to know she IS really banned. She cannot reply as much as she may want to. She would also really like to speak her piece about all this but cannot due to the fact that she is banned and cannot post.

I shouldn't have publicly posted my suspicions, but honestly I was frustrated and I didn't do my normal "give it time and then reply" self-policy. I posted my opinion on the Country situation way back when she brought it up, that people were questioning it, and she decided to delete that post. All that did was make me feel more wary. I don't know of all the events she posted about which are true and which aren't. I want to believe things people post and to trust them. To be honest I felt hurt, confused, frustrated, but too afraid of hurting anyone to say anything for months. I really don't feel she was truthful in all her threads, especially about Chiquita and Country, and she always chose to ignore questions about those things rather than provide an explanation.

My intention was never to be cruel or to hurt her. She sent me a PM when I was gone for awhile, asking if I was okay, and I was touched by that. I feel she is a kind person but has some problems, I just am not sure of what nature. Honestly I was very saddened to see her banned. If she asked to be banned, perhaps she just felt she couldn't explain to everyone's satisfaction. I don't want to bash her and I only feel sad to see her bashed. So I guess I am just stuck in a mixture of frustration, confusion, sadness and even worry for her over all of this. I was aggravated when I posted, and I should have just written her with my questions, but I was afraid she'd not be truthful with me or that I'd just not be able to trust her answers.

It's a shame, with all that's going on in the world, people losing their jobs, hurricanes, etc. that we have to waste our time and energy on something like this.

Facts:

1. Paula has been banned from Pet Talk.

2. Before she was officially banned, she typed the word "banned" as her Custom user text.

3. Paula asked me to ban her.

4. Publicly speculating about whether anyone or anything is real is never wise nor kind. If in the future you wonder about the veracity of any posts, PM me with your concerns, please.

5. Someone was lying to me, personally, over the last few days. I will never know whether is was Paula herself, or some relative or friend or intruder who had access to her account, her mother's account, her home computer, and passwords.

6. Between the time "Paula" had typed "banned" as her custom user text, and when I actually instituted the ban, someone was using her account to do unwise things.

7. People can be banned from Pet Talk. We - this being Paul and I - do not like to do so, but we also do not take kindly our community's trust being violated.
