Boomer, you are one diplomatic cat! You just make everyone, even the other cats, love you almost immediately! You're such a good boy for being such a good 'guest' (since you are a stranger to the other guys for now).

I know you will all make friends and be buddies; all it takes is a little time and patience.

Looks like you loved the tour your grandmeowmie took you on and I bet you and Grandpaw will be best friends!

I'm just so glad you're HOME!
Loving meowmie to Archy & Binky (RIP my sweet boy 10/13/10)

I could not be happier than to finally find some computer time tonight and see these wonderful pictures! Boomer looks so at ease after everything he has been through! Amazing and Wonderful!!!

I'm sure this news has really made Missy feel good about how things turned out. This has to be a load off of her mind. I'm so glad that Missy will have Boomer with her and Tyler. At least she will have most of her family with her. Things just always turn out the way they are supposed to don't they?

I'm so happy for the whole Sirrah crew!

Those pictures made me smile. I love the expression on his face, curious and stunned about all the new things in his live. Everything seems to be going so well.
I don’t know how long Missy had Boomer. Did he have a view of trees from her window? Has he ever been around other cats before? He is such a cutie!

Boomer has never seen another cat before. He's also never seen a tree up close becaue we live on the top floor of a high rise. He is experiencing all sorts of new things in Ohio

No wonder Boomer looks so stunned with his big round eyes.
He is going to love living in Ohio with grandma and grandpa.
The sunroom with the great view must be kitty heaven.
Missy, your little boy Tyler is so adorable.

Poor Boomer doesn't know what's going on! Cats he's never seen before. An outside world unknown to him before. He'll be happy to see people he knows - something "normal" in this abnormal world he's in. I'm so glad he made that long trip OK.

If Boomer has never interacted with other cats before, it seems like he is doing amazingly well. That's pretty impressive!

Boomer, you are one classy cat!

    pics and a QUESTION

Well, I slept with Boomer in his room last night....he snuggled against my legs I wanted to make sure he was eating, drinking, etc.

Early this morning I heard him slurping water and using his box. He hopped to the hammock and watched birds for awhile...then ate some of his dry food. I got up and he demanded a long belly rub He is wanting out of the room so badly so I think today is the day to open that door and let him roam. We have let each of the kitties come in for introductions and do not see any hostility except for some random hissing and growling. Emily seems to be the one most interested and calm with him so far. He is just the sweetest thing!!

My concern is that he has not eaten much at alll... maybe 1/2 cup of food in 4 days. He did make his first poo yesterday. I have offered him the stinky food I have but he would not eat that. Today I am going to buy another variety and some baby food. I don't want to upset his belly though - can ya'll suggest anything???

We may go out to the mall area and look for the supplement that you mentioned Becky - I can't find that post?? Is this a liquid product?? I think I will recognize the name when I see it.

He is not hiding under the bed anymore - but is still "hiding"

He enjoys being petted while hiding
    daughter Chris...

    GranPaw

    and GranMeowmie

    Yup - it's Boomer!! SHHH...he is hiding

He looks a bit saucer eyed here but was actually quite relaxed and contented. I can't wait to see how he reacts to having his Meowmie and brother with him finally!! (Thursday night!!)

LOL At first I couldn't find him in the picture...I kept looking at the carrier and expecting him there (I don't have my glasses on).

This has got to be one of my favorite PT stories. Everyone who helped out in sending Boomer to the US are quite extraordinary..and Boomer is very lucky to have such a wonderful Meowmie, Grandmeowmie and Granpaw.

Please keep the pictures coming! I LOVE this thread and it always brings a smile to my day..I have to check through it several times.
