Cable, Dial up,Etc. What do you have?

i have dial up at the moment, but we are hetting ADSL in a few weeks

I started out with cable and had a bad experience my stupid modem never worked

so my mom switched it to aol, and i love aol. except when it kicks you off and my mom hates me being online all the time because it ties up our phoneline. but oh well nobody ever calls

and aol works better for me anyways because i have a laptop...

We have dial up right now. But in a few weeks after we move we will have DSL!

I have cable. I can't imagine not having it! I had dialup for years and it's such a big change, I love it!

DSL here and are changing from 1.5mps speed up to 3mps and it is going to cost LESS

Each year I am learning to hesitate when it is time to renew for another year at a special rate and they always offer something even better to keep us as customers!! (SBCglobal)

I have Cable ( yes $$ but ok ) I used to have dial up & it got bad with viruses popping in & so I got scared & to save my computer went to Cable..

Dial up. I just can't afford cable. Plus, I don't like the idea of my computer being on all the time.

I have DSL through SBC as well...we pay for the extended business package because for our web hosting we need static IPs rather than IPs that change. We can't get static IPs through our cable company (the cable company here is very unreliable anyway). I just called SBC today to see if I could get a special rate, since we are PAYING for the highest speed but rarely ever get it (The phone lines in our building are horribly out of date, I'm suprised we can even GET DSL lol). The local manager said he would call. Most likely we will get a special price since we've been with them for so darn long

Thats the one thing I like about SBC. They're always good for giving long term customers discounts and stuff.

I feel for anyone on Dailup. My husband had it for a while before we got married and I about threw his computer out a window
