Oh Tonya, you must be a total basket case over this. I know that I would be.

So the little angel is sleeping......could she be plotting her next "crunch?"

I know you miss little Kissie....try to get a good night's sleep and update us tomorrow.

    {{{hugs}}}

how they can get a bandaid to stick on her nose.

Sorry Tonya, just have to laugh at MOFF's comment. It's the visual.

Just remember, she has a very special guardian angel bunny watching over her. Even God himself wouldn't want to make THAT bunny mad!!!

I'm glad you got a chuckle out of the bandaid on the nose slick. I was trying to get a grin out of Tonya too!

    Re: the angel-bun
I didn't even think of that, Moff! Now it all makes sense! lol

And, yes, I can just imagine the fun of a bandaid on the nose. Sounds like prime *crunch* time if I ever heard of one!

I called at 8.30 (only 30 minutes before I was suppose to) and my fav. receptionist told me, "I'll bet she's ready - let me put you through to the back." Was met with a new, gruffy voice and was told she could NOT go home (minor on my behalf) until Dr. N talked to me. I asked if she was awake, "Oh yeah - she's awake. Dr. N should call you this morning."

    9am comes, goes.
    10am comes, goes.
11am my boss says, "Get your stuff together and go check on her." That's all it took - I was OUT the door.

Walked into the office and there sits Miss New Gruffy Voice (NGV) who didn't even bid me a "hello, be right with you." I walk up to the front desk (am the only one in the lobby) and am completely ignored (to her credit, I could see she was working on someone's file). In walks a lady with a lab puppy saying, "Oh - I forgot to make her appointment for her spay" - I step aside and oogle the puppy. While oogling I heard the owner ask, "So you think you're gonna cut it? It's hard being new isn't it?" Miss NGV doesn't do anything but nod her head "yes" and walk out of the room. One of the other receptionists comes back in after that and takes over.

Anywho, "S" looks shocked/confused that I hadn't been in to pick K'Cee up yet - said she was DEFINITELY ready to go home. While I was paying the bill, one of the kennel workers brought a groggy and shaking ( ) Miss Kiss to me.... K'Cee immediately latches on to me. (*tears* I LOVE THIS CAT!!)

He said the bump on her nose didn't take long to remove and it wasn't deep at all. He took his scapel (sp?) and cut it out then used a laser to clean up the edges incase it was a melanoma. He said he should have the hystology (right word? sp?) report by the end of the week and he'd email it to me.

When we got home, I set K'Cee down and she immediately fell over (and so did my heart)! She can't stand or sit up very well yet. I drug out Sophie's old cage (crate for GR-sized dogs) and set her up a bed in it.

They told me she wouldn't eat the entire time she was there - this doesn't surprise me. And, the fact that the first thing she did was make her (wobbly) way to the litterbox tells me she didn't use their "facilities" either.

We offered her some water and about a tablespoon of wetfood that Aunt Kelly sent her; she gulped it right down. (We had to help hold her up to eat.)

I called the vet's back and asked about the wobbly-ness... they said the anesthesia should wear off by tonight. If not, call them at opening tomorrow.

I can already tell a difference in her demeanor - she knows she's home and I think that comfort and security is about the best healing "power" there is.

After she rests a bit, I'll try to get pictures of her owie.

Thanks for checkin' on us - it's back to work for me! (I have a feeling these next few hours are going to DRAG by. ugh!)

So glad to hear she's home and now resting comfortably. Seems they put a little check on her attitude while she was there, which I'm sure will be back as soon as she fully comes around.

    Welcome home K'Cee!

Oh, and it sounds like NGV needs an attitude adjustment already too.

Oh Tonya, thanks for the uppydate. I've been checking back on this thread every half hour.

Nice to hear that she's home where she belongs. Poor thing...you had to hold her up. That would just tear my heart out. I'll bet she'll be back to her old self in no time. Kisses to you K'Cee and {{{hugs}}} to you Sis.

Good Lord!!! Sounds like they gave her enough anestesia to knock out an elephant!!! Didn't they do the surgery yesterday?

I'm sure glad she is home now. I bet she'll be feeling lots better by the time you get home. Home and family is the best medicine there is.

Oh, you may want to give her softer foods for a day or two. My teeth always ache after they've been cleaned and hers might too.

Try not to worry! (yea, right!!! I know I know). At least the dot wasn't very deep and SHE'S HOME!!!

Boy, I sure do agree with this.............that's a long time for Miss Kiss to still be wobbly.

But thank God she is home with you now......eating......using the litter box...................bless her heart.

Just think, Tonya, you can snuggle with her this evening and tell her how much you love her..............and all is well........she is home with MOM!

They might have given a "lil extra" Laffin Gas to insure Staff Safety!

    So Glad she's HOME - all safe & semi-sound.
Wobbly-ness will hopefully wear off quickly.

Good to hear the Nose Dot came off without much fuss.
Maybe she can get a Tatoo to replace it??
