I never would have suspected bloat in a little dog! Hang in there, Lexi! We have all paws crossed for a quick and complete recovery!

  7. Thanks everybody! I don't know when we will be called to go back, but hopefully, everything will be alright!

I missed her last night, and I could not DO ANYTHING without thinking about her. Her and all those breathign tubes and oxygen masks, it was very hard to stand. It was hard holding up the IV bag on the way there, I never thought I would need to! I hope shes alright, and at this point, we need our baby back, cost doesn't matter!

Again, thank you! I may be able to update you later with pics of my girl!

  10. I was just thinkign about this now, but it was so helpless when Lexi went into the flower bush, lied down and just hid herself. I was so scared! Shes my baby! We ahve to go to the vet's again today to see if she'll eat any food. My poor Baby!

Hopefully, you all won't need to go through this with your beloved puppers!

I seen this last night and was hoping that it was just a tummy ache, sooo sorry to hear it wasn't

I've been through bloat with my RB Keisha and I know how horrible it is. She didn't make it, but I'm so glad to hear that Lexi is getting the medical attenion she needs. I'm also glad that you caught it in time (sadly I did not).

When you see her, give her a big hug from me.

I'll be saying prayers and thinking of you both.

  15. Thanks Anna!

    And everybody else!

I'll be sure to give Lexi many kisses and *maybe* hugs if shes up to it from you all! We're leaving in a couple minutes to see is she'll eat anything. Please keep your prayers coming!

I'm so glad we caught, and I thank the vets SO much who fought to save my little girl's life! *cries*
