    So very sorry to hear about Medusa. You gave her a
    good life, and she gave you her heart to keep forever.
    I'm sure she's enjoying her Special place at Rainbow
    Bridge, and looks down on you & the gang right now.
    Yes, I have been praying for all the animals & people
    affected by the horrible fires out west.Strange, but usually
    the first thing I think of when a hear of widespread forest
    fires is the animals who live there. They have nowhere
    to run & hide. Thank you for all your good work & also
    would like to pass on a Congrats on becoming a Grandma
    this August. Thanks for checking in & for the update on
    you & the furkids. All The Best to you & yours!!!Liz & Buddy.

    Oh my, oh my, that picture of Medusa got to me as well. Something about the ones that have loved so long. You know it may be their time but you just don't want to see them go and you will miss her so much. I've have two that have been at the bridge, one for almost 7 years and one for 3.5. I just had a wonderful dream about them last week where I got to hold them in my arms in the dream, and I could feel their very size and shape and weight and texture of their fur. It was an amazing dream. I hope one day Medusa will be able to *visit you* as well.

    Hi Julie. Oh, your Medusa was such a beautiful, sweet doggie. Like Rachel, her photo touched me so. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing But I know that her life with you here on this earth was a very happy one; one that was filled with great love. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for your loss. And hugs for dear, sweet Hope, our miracle dog! It was so good to hear that she is doing so well!! She truly is amazing!

    Today is a most glorious day as it is Hope's "first" birthday! It was one year ago today that she was found and no one thought she would make it and look at her now! We celebrated with sugar free peanut butter, liver and cheese cookies and lots of tears of joy. Miracles do happen and we have to continue to have faith. Thanks to all of you for helping me and being with me on this wonderful journey!

    I can't believe its been a year! I hope she had just the greatest birthday. She had a real sad story when she was rescued - but not real sure of the details anymore. She was found starving by the mountains and was blind right?

    You have done wonderful with her and she looks so good!

    Oh, Julie. That does my heart good, first thing in the morning, to see this precious girl, after all she has been through, looking so healthy and content in her little bed!!! Happy Anniversary, precious Hope. What a wonderful year you have had!!!

    I still can't believe the terrible condition she was in, just one year ago, and then to look at her now. Julie, you are an angel. Thanks so much for letting us celebrate with you all!

    What a great way to wake up in the morning!! Thanks Julie for sharing. You are truly a miracle worker and one of my heroines!! I appreciate you letting us participate in Hope's first "birthday" celebration albeit through the computer. Please give her a big hug and kiss from the Kendalls!! I'm sure your love and devotion is given back hundreds of times over. Hope girl, I sure hope you enjoyed your peanut butter and liver and cheese snacks!!

    That second photo with Hope's ribs jutting out breaks my heart .My Addie was skin and bones, but not nearly as bad as Hope. I'm glad the poor girl is doing better. She deserves a chance at the good life.

    Julie, little did I know one year ago when I saw and posted poor Hope's picture here on the BB that I would be congratulating her on her first birthday with you!!!!! I was sure she was going to die. My heart was broken. Then you came along and saved her life!!!! Oh the joy! Thank you for posting with us and letting us know how she is doing. I just love her new picture!! Thank you again and again for rescuing her!!

    Sue, I too remember Hope a year ago when she was so sick and I never thought she would have made it. Julie you are a hero! Happy birthday to you precious Hope! You are a sweet lil girl!

    Thanks for posting & reminding us all of Hope's
    Re-Birthday. It hardly seems like a year ago
    since first reading Hope's story. We all prayed
    daily for her recovery and prayed that you could
    stay strong & healthy & be able to continue your
    good work with her and the other rescues.
    Many hugs & kisses to Hope on her Re-Birth Day
    and hugs for all your other furkids too.
