Help yourself Trev...although I can pretty much guarantee that I'm going to be sawing logs by the time you get back. Yup...apparently I do snore....
Anyway, the chili is in the crock pot and I'll leave it on in case you want more later.

OK...so I'm thinking that we get a group together for a UK trip in 2006, why not travel to AuzzieLand in 2007???

    hi everyone....
I stopped in for a moment.....

    I miss you all terribly....

It's a long story and I am trying to be happy about things.

I want to say DONE! to you all and will take on any challengers for my Slushie title....

I may have to step down as the slushie king...

Slushies on the deck, Lost Angeles in the middle of July
at a PT BBQ give me an unfair advantage.

Morning all I feel much better after some sleep. More in perpective,I guess i"m ready for a new adventure in a new place. Finding one that will allow 3 dogs and 3 cats will be the challange. Well off to work , I'll let you know about the house after I see it and find out more.
Thanks Slick for all your support .

Corinna - good luck in finding a new home.

I hope it goes smoothly for you. We will save a prime spot on the sofa and keep the embers hot - so you can come back and rest a while when you need.

Richard, you are still Slushy King to me....
It's just that you were not available yesterday and my slushies...well they don't measure up at all to yours. So Alec had to step in temporarily.

Corinna, glad to hear you are feeling better. Things happen for a reason and you just wait...something even better awaits you right around the next corner.

If you're going to do that, then I'd much rather save my money. Been wanting to go there a long time. I love the accents. Maybe I could nab an Australian man

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Well the guy wasn't home to show the house so we'll see about tommorrow.
Not to worried yet . If we do get this one I wil have my own office and family room . Tim will have his own family room to. Plus a shop big enough to pull a semi in . Pray the guy will rent it to us.
Not a bad day at work either had a surprize hubby rode his Gold wing up and had lunch with me and 6 crazy women.

Sorry I've been absent - I've had a busy day. We just re-rented our house (that we bought to be a rental) to a very nice woman with one cat.

What made everything extra special was that her check for the first month's rent/deposit was made out to me, and not my husband (like the last two tenants always did). I never thought this bothered me until I saw that check in my name - and I'm very lucky to have a husband who doesn't have issues about something like this.

Then to top things off, I stopped at the grocery store and picked up some beer (real, not cyber ) and guess what - I was CARDED!!!!

(for anyone keeping track, I'll be 49 in June - that's human years, not dog years).

So now that I've had the best day of my life - I'll have one of Richard's slushies - I don't care who makes it.

Corrina - I wish you the best of luck with finding a rental of your own.

These are not the droids you were looking for

Your age was checked at 49.

Wow mate, you got to be happy with that.

It's the start of a long weekend downunder. We celebrate ANZAC day on Monday (as does Carole in NZ). So might just start of with a beer to commemorate all the brave "diggers" of Australia & New Zealand.
