Richard, get yourself a little rear-view mirror and attach it to the monitor. That way you can see people coming in. That's what our receptionist has and it works like a charm. If you are asked about it, you can make up something about "faster customer service by acknowledging people right away"....you know...all that crap.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

I wish, There are two other people in the office.....

And you just have to pass the door and there I am.....the only saving grace is that they leave at three thirty.....

This seems appropriate to share with everyone today. We Thursdays people need all of the blessings we can get!

    IRISH BLESSING

    May the road rise up

    to meet you,

    May the winds be always

    at your back,

    May the sun shine warm

    upon your face,

    the rains fall soft

    upon your fields.

    And until we meet again,

May God hold you in the

    hollow of His hand.

Bumping this up for the million post party! What are we drinking today to celebrate? Since this is the internet, I'll be drinking one of my favorite drinks from my early 20's which is a Kamikaze.

    1 oz vodka
    1 oz triple sec
    1 oz lime juice
Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice cubes, and serve.
I haven't had one of those in years and years. Congrats PT!

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.
    [/SIZE]

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

    **plunks down on couch**
**sigh** Ever have one of those days where you have a billion things to do but you just can't concentrate? I've had things on my mind all day and although I tried, I have not accomplished as much as I should have....too many people and pets to worry about.

    When times are tough..
    And friends are few..
Dick's Place will always welcome you!

I'm just going to sit down by the fire and enjoy the flames.

I'm in a super good mood. It's Friday and payday. We've got our 1 million posts and working on getting some shirts to wear because of it! I've also got my new sig. I had the idea at work. I found the pics there and emailed them to myself. I just finished. I know it's not fancy but I didn't want it to be. Drinks for everyone!
